Anonymous -Hyunjin story

Chapter Eighteen

-I got up and opened the door.-
Yeji:"Helllloooo!"
Me:"Hi Yeji!"
Yeji:"Can I come in?"
Me:"Oh sure!"
Yeji:"So tell me!"
-She said jumping on the couch patting a seat beside her with both of her hands.-
Me:"Tell you what?"
Yeji:"Ah come on! What did Felix wanted!"
Me:"He just asked if I could help him with his party."
Yeji:"Omg really ?a party?When?"
-I then started to explain to her the whole thing.-
Yeji:"Ah so no party huh?"
Me:"Nope."
Yeji:"I guess you saw what Hana did?"
Me:"Yep."
Yeji:"How did you feel?"
Me:"I don't know. Disgusted by her action but not surprised."
Yeji:"Same honestly. But Hyunjin was really dumb there."
Me:"Why? I mean I heard him a bit but did something else happened before ?"
Yeji:"Yes."
Me:"What happened?"
-She sigh-
Yeji:"Ok well, around the same time Felix arrived, Hyunjin was planning to go out at the park because he needed some fresh hair."
Me:"Was he feeling well?"
Yeji:"I don't know, I mean I don't think so because I accidentally sprayed hair spray on his face..."
Me:"Why?"
Yeji:"Not important"
Me:"Mmh mmh"
Yeji:"Anyway so before he got out, we noticed Felix's car and we saw Hana getting out of it. Then Hyunjin decided to hide but of course Hana noticed it."
Me:"Oh I see.."
Yeji:"Yup, oh by the way I also came to see you because I was bored at home. Mind if I stay?"
Me:"Not at all! I was watching a movie!"
Yeji:"Oh nice!"
-Then we watched the movie and talked until she went back home and my parents came back.-

[Few weeks later: Tuesday March 2nd]

-It's spring break! I love that time of the year! The flowers and trees are blooming! I'm planning on taking a walk later.-
Mom:"Y/n? Can you come downstairs please?"
Me:"I'm coming!"
-I arrive downstairs and I see my mom with a worried look on her face.-
Me:"What's wrong mom?"
Mom:"Can you please give this to your father? He's in our room. He doesn't feel well and I had an urgent call for my work."
-She said giving me a bottle of medicine and a glass of water.-
Me:"Of course mom."
Mom:"Thank you"
-She hugged me and kissed my forehead before exiting the house. I went upstairs and knocked on my fathers door. Silence. I knocked again gently. Silence again.-
Me:"Dad?"
-I slowly open the door, revealing my dad sleeping peacefully. I went to sit on his side of the bed and gently trying to wake him up.-
Me:"Dad?"
-He slowly opened his eyes and smiled at my presence.-
Dad:"Hello sweetheart."*cough*
Me:"Here take this."
-I gave him the glass of water and a medicine.-
Me:"Mom told me to give you this. She went at work. She got an urgent call."
-He sits up and took what I gave him.-
Dad:"Thank you."
-He gave me a warm smile.-
Me:"No problem dad. If you need anything I'll be in my room okay?"
-He nodded and I went back Into my room. I opened my laptop and began scrolling on different pages looking at some prom dresses. I suddenly thought about the anonymous letter. "Show up to the prom in a red dress." That's what it said.. will I do it? I didn't think to much about it. All I was doing at the moment was looking at the dresses. Not buying one yet.-
Dad:"Y/n?"
-I heard my dad calling my name so I quickly went in his room.-
Me:"Yes?"
Dad:"Do you think you can make me a soup or something please?"
Me:"Of course dad!"
Dad:"Thank you sweetie."
-We both smiled and I went downstairs.-
-While I made him his soup I heard a knock on my door. It was Hyunjin.-
Me:"Hey Hyunjin!"
Hyunjin:"Hello princess!"
Me:"What are you doing here?"
Hyunjin:"I wanted to hangout. Wanna go to the park?"
Me:"Not right now, sorry. My dad is sick so I need to take care of him while my mom is at work. But you can come in tho. I was making soup."
Hyunjin:"Oh okay."
-He joined me in the kitchen and we talked.-
Hyunjin:"So I saw Felix the other at your house. Yeji told me why. Don't worry."
-I looked at him and smile before looking down at the soup that I was mixing.-
Me:"Yeah.."
Hyunjin:"Hum..Wanna watch a movie later?"
Me:"Sure! The soup is done. Want a bowl?"
Hyunjin:"Okay!"
Me:"Okay just a seconde, I'll go bring this one to my dad."
Hyunjin:"I'll come with you."
Me:"Okay."
-We both went upstairs and gave my dad his soup.-
Dad:"Oh hello Hyunjin how are you? Thank you Y/n."
-He said with a warm smile looking at both of us.-
Hyunjin:"I'm fine what about you mr.Choi?"
Dad:"I'm sick but seeing you two is making me happy."
-Hyunjin just smiled and I gave my dad another glass of water.-
Dad:"The soup is really good dear."
Me:"Thank you dad. We are going to watch a movie, so if you need anything again, we will be downstairs."
Dad:"alright. I'll try to sleep again."
Hyunjin:"Take care mr.Choi!"
Dad:"Thank you my dear."
