Da'chanelle POV:

"Kentrell wake up" I said standing in his room while fixing my hair in his mirror. "Kentrell!" I yelled as Kentrell's head shot up and he started looking around.

"What's wrong?" He asked me as I slightly rolled my eyes. "You gotta go get Kayden and Kacey remember?" I said as he sucked his teeth and laid back down.

"Look I gotta work and last time I checked those are your kids so get the hell outta bed and go get them."

"I liked you better drunk" Kentrell said rolling his eyes as I scrunched my face.

"You know what, I'm done trying" I said walking out the room and slamming the door.

Honestly this nigga be acting like he 3 years old sometimes. How fucking hard is it to take care of your goddamn kids?!

I walked out the front door and got into my car. Jania called me last night before I went to sleep saying Kentrell wasn't answering the phone but could I let him know that he has to get Kayden and Kacey early this morning so she could go to the doctor.

I let him know last night and he slammed his room door in my face. I can't with these sudden mood changes. Nigga be acting like he pregnant sometimes.

Once I got to work by 7:45 I realized I was opening today. I walked inside the store and yawned before turning on the lights.

I made sure all the shoes were where they needed to be before hearing the gate open.

"Wassup" One of my coworkers Josh said giving me a head nod as I smiled and waved. "You're early"

"I ain't want you to be alone, I bought donuts" he said as I smiled and sat on the counter as Josh handed me the Dunkin donuts bag and I pulled out a glaze donut.

After we ate Val arrived as I took a video of Josh. "Look who bought me food!" I said as Josh shook his head smiling and turning around.

I posted the video on Instagram and pulled Val into a hug.

"You good?" I asked as she nodded. "Just tired" she said smiling before looking at Josh. "Heyy Joshy" she said as he sucked his teeth and bucked at her.

"Stop calling me that shit" he said as she smiled and slapped his shoulder. "I call you what I want"

"Yeah aight" Josh said rolling his eyes at Val as she went to sit her purse down in the back.

"Tina coming?" I asked Josh as he shook his head. "Let's get ready to open up then" I said as Josh nodded.

A couple hours later
5:46pm
Kentrell's POV:

"Who was that nigga you posted on Instagram?" I asked Chanel as she walked into the house with her head down.

"Kentrell please not now, I've been at work for 10 long hours" she said as I sucked my teeth and Draco ran up to her.

"Hey" she said picking Kacey up who had walked up to her leg. "Hi!" Kayden said as she smiled and locked the door.

"I'm gonna go take a shower" she said to them before sitting Kacey beside me and walking upstairs.

"Da you mad at Chanel?" Kayden asked as I waved him off, "No lil nigga...." I said before standing up.

"Ima be back" I said to them before walking upstairs to Chanel's room. I knocked on the room door and she opened it before sighing and I walked inside.

"How was work?" I asked seeing her slightly roll her eyes. "Tiring" she spoke as I nodded.

"You mad at me?"

"I'm not mad at you" Chanel said as I sat on the bed. "I'm irritated because sometimes you act like you care than other times you got an attitude at the whole world"

"I'm sorry" I said looking at her while she got some clothes out.

"You always say that then you do the same thing constantly"

"Because I don't know where we stand...sometimes you act like you into me and other times you act like you want nothing to do with me"

"Kentrell you're famous...I'm not"

"So?" I asked as she shook her head. "Me and you don't work"

"But we could" I said standing up and walking over to her. "Chanel I like you and I know you feel something for me too....I just need you to trust me"

"How can I trust you when you don't trust me?" She asked before walking away from me and going into her bathroom.

I do trust you...more than anyone I fuck with....
