Newt: You had made a bet that you could go twenty-four hours without talking to or needing Newt. You were only four hours in, and kept catching yourself muttering aloud the things you wanted to tell Newt. Every time he walked past you, or even if you were in the same room, he would remind you how long you had to go. twenty…fifteen…seven… the hours ticked away as you found yourself wanting to talk to him more and more. You finally had to go to bed, but on the twenty-fourth hour, you felt him crawl in beside you.
Gally: Gally had messed up big time, you and all of the other gladers knew it. Not only did he embarrass you in front of your friends, he did it while he was drunk off his head. He said that you were boring and selfish, spouting stories so embellished they didn’t even make sense. He had been following you around all day apologizing for things he didn’t even remember saying. Which ended up pissing you off even more. You started having a hard time ignoring him though, and everything he was saying was starting to get through to you. Him senselessly following you around all day showed you how much he cared about you, and finally you couldn’t take it anymore. “Slim it Gally!” You exclaim, defeated. “I forgive you, okay? Just shut up!” He smiles brightly, pulling you into him for a long kiss.
Thomas: The idiot had been here three solitary days, and he’d already broken the number one rule. No one but the runners go into the maze, and absolutely No onegoes in at night. You were always the one assigned to take care of the greenies in their first week. You were a stickler for the rules, but your caring nature made you relate able and warm. And this shank took complete advantage of you, and ran straight into the damn maze. “Serves him right.” You mutter to Gally at dinner. But if that was true, then why were you so worried? Obviously you cared for Minho and Alby, but you found yourself worried about Thomas’s well being more than your friends, and that scared you. Especially when Thomas showed at the doors the next morning, and you were elated. You were so angry with yourself you didn’t want to talk to Thomas at all. So, you didn’t. It had been a few hours of solitude in the deadheads when you felt someone sit beside you. “So they tell me you were pretty upset last night.” Thomas says smugly. “My best friend was stuck in there with you, you bastard. What were you thinking?! You would’ve gotten killed if you weren’t such a lucky shank.” Tears were filling your eyes, and Thomas’s face softened when he noticed them. “I’m sorry…” Thomas says softly, kissing your forehead. “No problem.” You say, jumping up quickly and beginning to walk down the path to the glade. “I’ve never met such an idiot greenie in my entire life!” You exclaim, and Thomas laughs before getting up to chase you.
Minho: Minho had been driving you crazy all week. He had been condescending every time you asked him a question, and had been flat out ignoring you for hours at a time. He was ‘the keeper of the runners, and he had an important job to do’ as he always told you. So, you decided to retaliate. You made sure to talk to ,everyone around him, even Gally in one of his foul moods. Without ever talking directly to Minho. This went on for daysuntil ,finally, Minho had had enough. “What the hell is you problem?” He exclaims at the dinner table. “You’ve been pulling this klunk all week, and I’m sick of it!” You frown, Minho still didn’t get it. “I wanted to show you how much you needed to learn to appreciate things…” You trail off, disappointed in him and how hard it was for him to understand you. “You don’t even put in an effort anymore.” All of the boys in the cafeteria were watching the two of you like you were a good sitcom, but neither of you cared. You were both so angry that the argument dragged on for what seemed like forever. You cried, he pleaded, but in the end you were kissing, and you would remember to appreciate each other from now on.
