CHAPTER FIFTY SEVEN

Jen's pov

After Hyunjin ran out of the cafe, we've been questioning Yuta but he seems not to say anything, we've been calling his number but he seems not to answer, this went on for three days, we started searching and looking for him

But we didn't find him, we were searching his neighbourhood, asking his neighbours if they knew of his whereabouts but they had simonise answers

"Sorry No"
"I haven't seen him"
"I don't know where he is..."

Where are you Hyunjin? I muttered

Yukhei got a call from an unknown number and he immediately answered it and put it on speaker

"H-Hello?"

"Uhm...hey I found this phone along with a body while I was performing my afternoon patrol, I found the body two days ago"

"B-Body?" Yuta muttered trembling

"But I admitted him to ***** hospital, I just wanted to reach out to you, I'm in the hospital now, I'll be waiting for your arrival" he said and ended the call

"Come on let's hurry" Tharn said tugging Yukhei's hoodie

We got into Yukhei's car and drove to the hospital, the hospital's entrance was crowded with paparazzis and reporters, seems like the got the news already

Yukhei called the man and told him we had arrived, he got out of the waiting room and walked to the reception and then led us to Hyunjin's room

The man stayed outside while we went in, The Doctor was already there

"Hyunjin" Chloe said tearing up seeing Hyunjin in this state broke her heart

Hyunjin's whole body was bandaged except the centre of his face which still had scratches on, his pink lips where now pale and dry and he looked like he was a corpses bandaged

The doctor turned to us "You must be his family"

"Y-Yes we are" Yukhei replied

"D-Do you know w-what happened to him?" I asked

"According to eye witnesses, he tried committing suicide" the doctor said resulting to gasps

"Thankfully, he landed on a van, but he broke a lot of bones, he has deep cuts on his body resulting to excessive loss of blood, he also has eternal bleeding and some of his organs are highly damaged but he's out of trouble now but it will take awhile to heal, he's eyes are shut but he's conscious, he's face and body is still paralysed so he can't move" The doctor said and left

Everyone started crying

"Why would you try to kill yourself Hyun?" Yukhei asked rubbing Hyunjin's hand as he cried

Yuta was still in shock, he just couldn't believe something like this would happen to him

"G-Guys I would like to have some alone time with him" Yuta said

We all left the room

Yuta's pov

After everyone left, I walked and sat beside him, I held his cold hand, I couldn't hold my tears back anymore...

"Why did you do this to your self Hyunjin"

"You could have killed yourself" I said kissing his hand

"I can't afford loosing you, I'm sorry for hurting you Hyunjin, I'm sorry for using those bad words on you" I said wiping my tears

"Please wake up Hyunjin" I said crying again

I looked up at him, his long lashes hit his cheeks each time his eyes quivered, I looked down at his nose, how he was breathing softly and then I looked at his lips, they looked so pale unlike how pink it was

Though I spend more time with Tharn, Hyunjin was still my favourite in the group, he was more of my best friend in the group and hearing him confess to me made me... I don't know how to say this, I was scared, what if we end up being together and eventually break up leading to a cut in our friendship and it can also break our group, that I didn't want to happen

As of my feelings for him...I don't know, I have a girlfriend, even though she cheats on me countless times, I still stayed with her in order not to embarrass her because our relationship was made announced publicly...

I really am sorry for hurting Hyunjin

I leaned in and pecked his lips, I didn't know why I did that but I did, I leaned out and saw Hyunjin crying, tears where going down his cheeks, I used my thumb to wipe the tears

"Please don't cry" I said as I kissed his forehead

It's said, you don't know something's value till it's gone, Hyunjin being missing for three days made me feel dead, no one was there to joke, no one was there to complain about maltreatment, no one was there to talk nonstop, I missed him too much and that was when I confirmed my feelings for him

"Hyunjin, I like you too" I said as I placed a peck on his cheek
