Chapter Thirty

Andre later went to hang out with his friends and I was alone at home and Devon video called me

"Hey" "Hi" I replied "It sure has been awhile" he said "Awhile, we last talked-" "Anyway, What are you doing now?" "Mmm actually nothing" "I'm out now in a restaurant wanna join?" I wanted to but what held me back was how Andre's gonna act when he finds out but fuck it I said to my self, I'm single I have the right to be with anyone

"Why not?" "Cool, I'll send you the address then" He said smiling widely, he looked very happy "I'll see you then" "Bye" He said as he ended the call

"What to wear...what to wear...I'll just go In a casual outfit" I got upstairs and changed into one of Andre's hoodies with a pair of shorts and some slides "This will do" I said as I got downstairs, I grabbed my phone and left

I got to the address Devon sent me, it wasn't a restaurant, it was a street, I looked around and didn't see Devon, I decided to wait a little, after awhile, I decided to leave but then someone came and hugged me from behind

"Sorry for keeping you waiting" Devon said as he kissed my neck, I moved away from him
"It's alright...so where exactly is the restaurant" "There isn't" he said as he put his hands into his pockets "Then why did you say you were in one" "Never mind that, I just wanted you to see this" "See what?"

Devon immediately held my hand and began to run "Where...where are we going to?" "Wait you'll see" He kept moving forward, passing through houses, the wind blowing his hair backwards, running so fast till we finally arrived "What's this?"

We stood in front of a wall, it was sprayed
"DeAn" on it "Devon? Why are we here?"
Devon was still catching his breathing
"Come...come in" He said as he held my hand and pushed the wall, it was actually a door
When the door opened, there was a stairs that led down, there was so dark

"Wait Wait let me turn on my flashlight"
" Never mind that" he said as he hit the switch and the light came on" we got down
"Wow What is this place?" I said looking around "My hideout when I was little, I add somethings too" "it's amazing"

I said as I sat on a bean bag, "Catch" he said as he threw me a can of beer "It's what I have here" "It's okay" he sat down beside me and sighed, I sighted a framed picture on a table I stood up and walked towards it

It was a picture of Devon and Andre when they were little, Devon stood and quickly grabbed the picture out of my hand
"You guys were close friends what would have broken the relationship?" I pretended like I didn't know. Devon sat down and sighed

He rubbed his brows "I shouldn't have" he muttered  I sat next to him "Tell me what happened" "I don't want you to know" he said as he looked down and sighed

"I know already" Devon widened his eyes as he looked at me "Yes, Andre told me, I really didn't think you would be so toxic" "I didn't mean to" "You shot your best friend Devon!!"
"I know!! And I regret that every single day, the thought of him being dead because of what I did to him, kills me Jen, I didn't know what got into me, I wasn't myself that moment"

"You shot your best friend and after that you treat him badly when you're at fault then you hit me and almost abused me and after that you treat me like trash!!You hurt others when wrong, why?!!!" I yelled

"I'm sorry Jennifer" Devon said "You're always sorry and after that? What do you do? You repeat it again!! Can't you for once think about others?!!Do you know how many people you have hurt? Why r u so self-centred?!!!"

Devon kept quiet "Jen...I'm truly sorry" he said with tears in his eyes "I just can't control myself when I get angry, I know I've hurt a lot of people but I don't intend to, I don't know how to apologise to them, it's really hard"

"Hard? Do you know what I've passed through because of you? Do you know what Andre has tolerated and held in because of you? Even after what you did he hasn't thought bad of you, he still held it, do you still think it's hard?!! Do you?!!!Huh?Do you?!!!" I yelled hard

Devon looked down "Fine I get it" He took my phone "What are you doing now?"
He called Andre and told him to meet at there hideout, after awhile, Andre arrived

"Jen!" He said as he grabbed me to him
"Why did you call me?" He asks Devon
Devon sighs "I'm sorry" "Huh?" "I'm sorry for shooting at you, I'm sorry for treating you badly, I'm sorry for ending our friendship...
I'm sorry for everything Andrade"

Andre smirk "Tch...Sorry?" He chuckled
"You are always sorry Devon, You shot me, took everything I had and here you are apologising" Devon sighs "Then let's make it even" Devon brought out a revolver and handed it to Andre

"Here, shoot me and let's be even" Devon said, Devon's eyes were filled with regret
"W-What?" Andre said "Shoot me and let's be even" Andre was still looking at the revolver
Devon grabbed the revolver from him

"Then I will, besides there's nothing to loose"
He said as he placed the revolver at his temple
"Devon stop that!!!"said Andre "You don't have to do this" I said

Andre ran to Devon and grabbed his wrist, they were struggling with the revolver
"You guys should stop!!! Someone's gonna get hurt—

A shot got fired, both their eyes widened,
A drop of blood dripped on the floor, then came another,and another...

"Ahhhhhh!!!!!!" I screamed covering both my ears, I slumped to the ground, Tears dropped down my cheeks

"It can't be..."
