The masked ladybug themed heroine jumps across the high roof tops of multiple buildings with intense speed and quiet footsteps. The dress she wore floats lightly as she runs, making it feel like she was flying. She used her parasol to help her glide from distanced buildings and she giggled cheerfully at her new strengths.

"I can definitely get used to this!" She exclaims as she walked, her back facing her moving direction, as she surveyed the village town.

She had wandered though the streets of the village multiple times a week but never had she seen it from this perspective. It was all so inspiring.

Without noticing, the blue-eyed heroine slips off the towering and lets out a shriek as she plummets to the ground. She shut her eyes closed, forgetting for a split second that she had magical abilities coursing through her bones and let herself fall. But to her surprise she didn't go 'splat' on the ground. She fell into a pair of strong arms.

Her first thought was, "Was this what death felt like?" But she heard a chuckle and her eyes shot open to clash against a pair of emerald green eyes.

She yelped as she jumped out of his grasp and murmurs multiple apologizes in his direction as she ran her hand down her dress, ridding the non-existent dust and dirt off her.

"No worries." He responds with a shy smile, rubbing the back of his neck.

The spotted heroine looks up and sees the male who saved her. He looks similar to her, with their frivolous get up. He had a leather black suit on and a cape around his back with a golden bell pinning it down on him. The cape reached half way down his back before stopping. He had a black, leather mask across his face, reaching to the tip of his nose. His eyes was almost cat like with their piercing stare and slitted pupils. His golden blonde hair covered his ears and two black cat ears laid on his head. Behind him was a swaying leather tail and on his belt was a silver staff.

"You must be the partner my Kwami told me about!" He exclaimed.

"I guess so." The bluenette giggled.

"Well then, M'Lady, I am Chat Noir." He responds with a dramatic bow, ending with him taking her right hand and holding it to his lips to kiss the back of it.

The bluenette stood there stunned for a moment as Chat Noir smirked at her surprised expression.

"And this is where you introduce yourself, Bugaboo." He chuckles.

"R-Right! I am M-Mar- I MEAN- Ladybug! Yes! Ladybug!" She exclaims, pulling her right hand back with an awkward giggle.

"Well then, Ladybug, shall we get to know each other since we are now partners?" Chat asked with raised eyebrows.

"Sure." Ladybug chuckled at his antics.

He stretched out his hand and she allowed hers to fall into his. He took that as a sign of acceptance and quickly swing his other arm underneath her, holding her bridal style and using his staff to get over the rooftop with the giggling heroine.

After a few minutes had passed, he placed her back down on the rooftop that showed the afternoon sun and bright skies.

"Alright, Ladybug, tell me something about yourself." He says, sitting with his legs crossed.

"What do you want to know?" Ladybug responds with a curiously raised eyebrow.

"Anything." Chat replies with a grin.

"Okay, well, I'm a amateur designer who dreams on hiring big with it." Ladybug begins, staring off into the village as she talks about her desires and dreams.

"That's definitely something." Chat nods on encouragement.

"What about you? Any desires or dreams?" Ladybug asks.

"I don't really have a choice in my future, so I don't spend time contemplating on it. My life has been set in stone for me." He sighs sadly, dropping his head to his twiddling fingers, his faux cat ears drooped as well.

"Oh, I'm so sorry." Ladybug murmurs.

"It's all good, I'll be fine anyways." Chat responds with a trying smile.

"Next topic then!" He exclaims, pushing those negative thoughts out.

"What do you like eating?" Chat asks.

"Anything sweet and baked goods!" Ladybug responds.

"You?" She asks.

"Depends on the day." He shrugs.

"Alright, you courting by anybody?" Ladybug asks.

"Why are you asking? You interested?" He smirks.

"In your dreams!" Ladybug remarks.

He chuckles at her antics and turned to the bustling village.

"No, not yet at least. But soon, my father found someone for me to wed." He sighs.

"Your life really is planned out for you." The bluenette murmurs.

"Yep." He responds with a faint nod.

The two heroes sat side by side as they stared at the setting sun. It was getting late but neither wanted to leave the other for their home lives. Even though they have known each other for less than five hours, they built a trusting bond with each other. Their silence as they sat was not with an awkward tone, it was a comfortable feeling.

And then suddenly, out of the silence, both their magical jewels, their Miraculous, let out a beep, notifying their time is almost up.

"Well, that was definitely interesting." Chat chuckles, pulling himself up.

"For sure." Ladybug giggles, allowing herself to take his hand and pull her up.

"Well, I would walk you home if I knew where you live, but alas fate has other plans for now." Chat smirks.

"Hilarious." Ladybug deadpanned.

"Until next time, then." Chat responds with a bow and a final kiss to the back of her hand and leaps off into the night.

"And don't walk backwards off buildings again!" He calls out to her as he jumps further away.

The black cat hero jumped through the window of his room and let out his transformation, the small Kwami swirls out of his ring and onto his bed.

"That was like five hours kid! How are you not hungry?!" Plagg groans.

"You're just a pig." Adrien smirks before dropping onto his bed with a sigh.

"Ooo! I see that we have here is a Romeo, dreaming of his Juliet." Plagg teased.

"What are you talking about?" Adrien asks, completely oblivious to his Kwami's antics.

"You're in love with Ladybug!" Plagg cackles.

"Very likely." Adrien smirks.

"Look at you and you sickening lovesick dovey eyes." Plagg rolls over laughing.

"She's my partner, Plagg. Just a friend." He responds with a roll of his eyes.

"Wait- a friend." He smiles to himself.

"You keep telling that lie to yourself and we'll see how far you get." Plagg snickers.

"Whatever." Adrien shook his head in disbelief that he had been saddled for life with this jokester of a Kwami.

A friend. He can't believe it. He had made a friend. Sure, it was under a black leather mask and a snarky attitude, but it was still him. He had made a friend that wasn't just from his father shoving him in a room with someone. He loves Chloe as a sister basically, but he had just made a friend on his own.

And he had never felt any better.
