Today I woke up incredibly happy even though I'm not a morning person. Today is the day I finally go to Hogwarts. The clothes I chose today are very comfortable because the train ride is very long. I wore a beige dress, it had long sleeves and a pretty design.

We were eating breakfast as always, and I heard my dad say.
"Merlin's beard! It's nearly 10:50 am!"
"What! Alright children the train leaves in ten minutes go brush your teeth and grab your trunks." Mom said. We were all staring at her looking totally clueless and after a while we reacted and ran upstairs.
Quickly we all went downstairs with our trunks and pets, we all linked arms an apparated to the platform. I was very nervous, I have never gone to platform nine and three quarters. We stood in front of platforms nine and ten. Matt and Michael were the firsts to run straight to it, they had done it many times already. Matt was going to his sixth year and Michael to his fourth year.
I think Maxi was even more nervous than me. "Alright twins your turn." Dad said.
"Okay I am going first." I said to Maxi. He simply nodded. I turned to look at my mom and she gave me a reassuring smile. I ran with all my strength and closed my eyes waiting for the impact. Fortunately, it never came.
I opened my eyes and saw a beautiful red and black train. It was the Hogwarts Express. I was taking in the view when I suddenly heard someone call my name.
"Maddie! Maddie!" I turned around and saw my best friend since I was born. Ivy Greengrass. Funnily enough, she was also my cousin from my mom's side.
Ivy is a short 11-year-old witch. She has beautiful blonde hair. Her eyes are blue and she has white skin. I've always though she is quite pretty. I've known her since birth, and we became inseparable ever since. She is always looking out for everyone she loves. She is very intelligent, and she never fails to make me laugh. She is pure blood, and her family is very big. She is the daughter of my mom's older brother.
"Ivy! Oh, I've missed you so much!" I said while hugging her.
"Me too Maddie! I'm so excited to finally see you and go to our first year."
"I know, did you go to Diagon Alley?" I asked her, her family was a little strict, since her father was killed when she was younger.
"I did, I finally convinced mother to let me go! Of course, she brought like three house-elves when we went." Ivy and I laughed.
"Alright girls, it's time to get on the train! It's 10:58." My mom said.
"Oh hello auntie and uncle!" Ivy said. My parents chuckled and greeted her.
"Princess, take care. We love you so much and we will miss you!" Said dad while hugging me.
"I love you both and I'll miss you too." I said.
"Promise me you'll write everyday." Said mom.
"Of course I will." I said while smiling. I gave them both a large hug and hopped on the train with Ivy.
"Where's Maxi?" Said Ivy.
"You know now that you mention it, I haven't seen him. I think he said good bye and got on the train while you and I were talking."
I took out my 'Pride and Prejudice' book and began reading. We were an hour on the way, when we heard our compartment door slide open. I look up to see Maxi and two boys with him.
I recognized one of them, he is William Brown. He is a tall boy our age who is a half-blood. I know him because his brother is one of Michael's best friend, therefore he has been in our house. He is very clever. He has black hair and tan skin. He also wore black glasses.
"Hey nerd!" Said Maxi while closing my book.
"Ugh, what do you want?!" I said.
"Nothing, we're just bored and I remembered I have a sister who is always with her cousin."
"Merlin, you're so annoying!" Said Ivy. "Who are they?" She continued.
"Oh, right, sorry!" Maxi chuckled.
"This is William Brown, William this is Ivy Greengrass, my cousin."
"Hello nice to meet you" Said William. "Likewise" Said Ivy while they shook hands.
"This is Newt Jones, we just met him."
"Nice meeting you both!" Said Newt.
"Yeah you too." Ivy and I said at the same time.
We were all talking for a long time. I learned that Newt is a muggle-born who is also our age. He is very kind and patient with all of Maxi's terrible jokes. He has very good manners and he told us he is very interested on learning about magical creatures. We were having a great time.
"So, what do you guys think your houses will be?" Asked Newt.
"Slytherin." Maxi and I said at the same time with a smirk. They all laughed.
"Well what about you?" Asked Newt while looking at William and Ivy.
"I actually don't know." Said Ivy.
"Yeah, me too!" Said William.
"I think William is going to be a Ravenclaw and Ivy either a Ravenclaw or a Slytherin" I said.
"Yeah that would make sense" Said my brother.
"What about you Newt?" Asked Ivy.
"Well I personally think either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff." He answered.
"I really think you're going to be a Hufflepuff, Newt" I said. I saw the door open once again. It was Amelia Avery. I smiled widely.
Imet Amelia when we were six years old. Her, Ivy, and I became best friends ever since. We were practically a trio. Amelia is an average height pure-blood girl. She is very funny and ambitious. She has silky dark hair and very pale skin. She also has light brown eyes. She is very beautiful. Her family is also very wealthy, like Ivy and I's. I think she is definitely going to be a Slytherin, I would be very happy is she was sorted into it.
"Amelia!" I said while hugging her. Then Ivy joined.
"We've missed you so much!" She said. "Oh! Me too!" Amelia said.
I was going back to my seat when I saw a ball of very blond hair. I screamed internally. It was Draco Malfoy. Him and my family met also five years ago, since him and Amelia are cousins. I really loved Amelia, but I hate him too much. Him and I are always fighting, including the first day we met.
"Hello Gaunts and Greengrass." He spat. I rolled my eyes. "happy to see me?" He obnoxiously said. "Sure!" I sarcastically said while opening my book.
Unfortunately, him and Maxi are good friends. Therefore, I have to see him. I really don't know what he likes about him. He is a pure-blood supremacist! Not to mention incredibly rude to everyone. Especially muggle-borns, half-bloods and house-elves.
