The tension in the room was unbearable. No one was talking and everyone pretended to be concentrated on the movie.

Finn doesn't get quiet often but when he does it's noticeable. Usually when we watch a movie he loves to comment on it or he bursts out laughing on the funny scenes. Now he's just sitting in silence, stuffing his pretty face in popcorn.

Adam is being Adam. I know he doesn't like Jeremy but we have made a deal. As long as I don't try dating any of our friends, he doesn't get involved in my love life. And all of our friends are aware of this deal too.

When we were kids we made a pact. None of them are ever allowed to kiss, date or sleep with me. Hugging and hand holding is allowed since that's innocent.

The pact was made when the boys started to become preteens and their hormones were all over the place. Adam started to get really mad at how the boys were acting and he said it's either a pact or friendship over.

We all decided on the pact of course.

My head turns to look at Evan and Elias. Both of them look as mad as the other. After Elias sent that message to Jeremy, I decided on a full on shouting rant about how childish they were all acting. I was rewarded with some colorful words from both Evan and Elias.

Now we all sit in silence.

For some reason Evan has never been a fan of Jeremy either. Not that he actually has any reason to dislike Jer, he's been nothing but nice to Evan.

The only person I wanted to talk to was Lucas. He decided to come get me and made me sit with him on the armchair. His arm is around my shoulder, hugging me into is body, as my head rests on his shoulder. I can feel Lucas draw little circles on my arm as I sit hugging my knees to my chest.

For the past 30 minutes I've checked my phone constantly but haven't gotten a single reply from Jeremy.

I tried to explain that Elias took my phone, but it's no use. Jeremy isn't even reading my messages. I know he's probably mad and I don't blame him. If a girl sent that to me through Jeremy's phone, I would lose it.

"Is the beer gone?" Adam says catching everyone's attention. All our eyes scan the room, noticing that we've drank all the beer. "Im gonna get some more, someone wanna help?" Adam says as he gets up from the couch.

"I'll come," Evan says. Assuming to get out of this awkward situation.

"I'll come too, we need more popcorn anyway," Finn pouts and looks down at the empty bowl. I break into a small smile, knowing he's been stress eating. Finn hates arguing as his parents used to argue a lot before they got a divorce.

I watch all three of them walk up the stairs.

"April I need to take a piss," Lucas chuckles and I let out a soft laugh and get up from cuddling him.

My eyes land on the almost empty room, my smile fading when I realize it's only me and Elias.

I take my phone from my pocket, trying to avoid the awkwardness. I scroll through Instagram, not paying any attention to the pictures as my mind is occupied in thinking about the man next to me.

I hate arguing. And I hate it even more when I argue with Elias. We're both pretty stubborn and that usually ends in an argument.

"April," Elias' deep voice breaks the silence but I decide to ignore him, proving my stubbornness. "April, look at me."

I can't take it, I know I'll break in a second. So instead I decide I now too need to pee. I get on my feet and start to walk towards the stairs.

"For fucks sake," I hear Elias curse under his breath and before I know it, I feel his fingers wrap around my wrist. "April please talk to me."
