14. Apocalypse

"Huff! That was close..."

Xiao Yu crawls out from his hiding inside a wardrobe . He has just avoided a zombie.

This is a zombie apocalypse world. Can't believe Xin Fei chose such a terrible world as a mission.

Those eerie moanings and grunts. Howlings of mutant dogs. This town only filled with zombies and mutant animals. Most humans have been eaten or still hiding in their home.

His body belongs to a young medical student in a university. His dream is to become a doctor.

Alas!

Apocalypse occurs before he could reach his dream.

To research medicine to cure zombie virus. That is his sole mission.

System has gone dead.

Another wave of zombies pass in the street. No way out. He is trapped inside them. Xiao Yu teleports away into his hidden dimension.

He takes off his clothes and washes himself in the small spring. It has been upgraded. The water could filled a bathtub at current situation.

Xiao Yu sighs. He looks around him. Fruits are abundant on trees. At least he won't starve to dead in this apocalypse world. Spring water could be drink too.

Xin Fei. How to find him? The world is vast. Zombies are everywhere. Does he even remember me?

He closes his eyes and relaxes for a while. He is safe in here.

Few hours have passed before he leaves the dimension again.

Looting in abandoned stores again. Xiao Yu passes a full body mirror. Pale skin. Smooth baby face. Limpid bright eyes. Skinny built. A bit short body (165cm).

Hard to believe this is the body of 24 years old young man.

He picks up a steel pipe around a meter long. It's better to have a weapon against a zombie.

Eerie groan again. From that corner ahead of him. His vision is blocked by shelves.

He swings his iron bar but a pairs of strong hands capture it. His blue eyes are staring him coldly.

A dead zombie is lying on the floor. This guy must have killed him first.

Xiao Yu stares him. Blue eyes, curly blond hair. He looks like a foreigner. Or maybe a mixed race boy. His chinese language is too fluent. His ears are pierced with few earrings. A leather jacket and black jeans.

This guy looks like a rebellious teen boy. Someone who dreams to be a rock star.

The blue eyed teenager boy spouts few more curses before he looks at Xiao Yu's appearance. Pale skin. Pure eyes. White lab coat tainted with yellow liquid and black blood.

One look and he knows this guy won't last long on his own.

The punk guy asks, "Where are you going?"

"Dunno."

Suddenly the store glasses break down. Countless zombies are swarming in from the broken store window.

"Shit! Run!"

The boy dashes away through a back door. Xiao Yu wants to follow him.

Too late!

Zombies are flooding in from back door too. He has no choice but to retreat into his space again.

He has nothing to do so he begins to meditate in his space. It would take hours or probably days before he could leave this space.
