39. My Happy Ending

Jack is sitting on a chair placed next to the bed.

Xiao Yu has been moved into his house when he has fainted in the hospital.

Jack rises and walks to bathroom. He washes his face and stares to the mirror. He hasn't shaved for few days. He looks really manly with the stubble beard.

"What am I doing? Should I just release him?" mumbles him.

He shakes his head. He hears a noise so he immediately leaves the bathroom.

Vincent is gone. Just like that. The door is still locked. The window isn't open. As if he has vanished into thin air.

Jack laughs weakly. That man would be the death of him.

In his space, Xiao Yu is soaking in his spring. The water rejuvenates him, bringing him back to life again. He drinks it and just takes a leisure bath.

The space has been upgraded. It has daytime and night time. It has seasons.

He finally leaves the spring.

The new addition is a small white sandy beach. The blue ocean. This place is a perfect paradise.

His system is a stupid one. At least he knows how to create a beautiful space.

"What do you mean stupid system?"

"Stop reading my mind. You won't like it."

They kept bantering as usual. He really misses this silly system a lot.

Xiao Yu takes a walk through the small forest in his space. Colorful fruits are hanging on trees. He picks some apples and eats them.

Sweeter than the ones sold in the market.

He asks, "Could I sell them?"

"Not enough amount, Host."

"You are right. It's only adequate to eat myself."

Xiao Yu is too lazy to plant the whole space with plants. He isn't exactly a diligent person. Not a couch potato. Only someone in between them.

He walks bare foot.

It's summer time in his space. The sunlight is a bit too hot. He would go swimming later. The ocean looks very tempting right now.

He sighs.

It's time to get back to real world.

The minute he shows up, there is an alarm rings. Jack arrives from another room. He grabs his arms and stares angrily to him.

"Ouch! You are hurting me!"

"Where did you go? How could you escape?"

"Jack, you release me now. Or I'll sue you."

Jack releases him reluctantly. Not because he's afraid of the court. He has left red marks imprint on the smooth pale arms.

Vincent says, "You hate me. I'll disappear from your life forever. Just give me your bank account number. I will pay you back somehow."

Jack stares at him as if he's a villain who had killed his parents.

Vincent gulps.

So much hatred. What did I ever do to him? He used to be a sweet looking boy. I know he's a worst brocon ever. Sean has been dead for five years. Can't he just forgive me?

Vincent takes few steps backwards.

He mindlinks the system, "Track down Xin Fei for me. I couldn't find him anywhere in this world."
