17. Sewer Time

They are panting after killing some mutant rats. The sewer smells more awful than the last time because of many dead zombies scattered around.

Xiao Yu couldn't stop thinking about the area L-13. He has gone into the sewer again. He didn't tell his boyfriend but he has secretly tailed him here.

Lianzhi complaints, "Why we have to come here? It stinks down here."

Xiao Yu says, "I could go on my own."

"I'm not leaving you alone."

Mutant rats kept on swarming toward them. They would be eaten alive in this rate.

"Look out!" yells Lianzhi while pushing Xiao Yu away.

Poor Lianzhi got bitten by a huge rat. The blood stench agitates the pest even more. They are going to bite him to death.

Lianzhi screams and suddenly all the rats around him got electrocuted. Electrical sparks strike all directions.

Xiao Yu falls to the floor to avoid them.

Few minutes later the sparks are gone. Lianzhi has collapsed and fainted.

"System, give me weapons!"

"Unauthorized access. Level too low."

"Damn it! Exchange for the aphrodisiac!"

A package immediately appears in his dimension space. Xiao Yu takes one of them. He tears the wrapper and tosses it to the rats.

The drug drives them mad and they begin to mate crazily. Some of them died from mating too much.

Xiao Yu lifts Lianzhi but fails. He hates his weak body. He half drags his lover out of there.

It's too late to retreat. They are closer to L-13 right now. Another wave of mutant rats appear. Xiao Yu tosses a dose of aphrodisiac again.

The crazy mating season begins again.

Xiao Yu treats Lianzhi wounds. He disinfects them using his spring water.

He mindlinks the system, "Could I take him into my dimension?"

"Unauthorized access."

He has no choice but to treat him here. He drinks a gulp of spring water and kisses his lover. He helps him to drink the miracle water.

They continue their journey to L-13 area after Lianzhi regains consciousness again.

Xiao Yu asks worriedly," How do you feel?"

"Never been better. I felt I have slept for a long time."

Xiao Yu nods his head. As usual, the water works wonder to human body.

There is no door at the end of L-13 area. It's a dead end.

Lianzhi complaints, "We wasted time here."

"No. Wait."

Xiao Yu presses almost invisible dent on the wall. Suddenly a green ray shines on him. He stands still. The ray scans his retina.

A mechanical voice greets, "Welcome back, Prof. Chu Wu Qing."

Lianzhi looks shocked. Xiao Yu only scratches his head. He has lost his memories. He only knows the answer lies in there.

A hidden door suddenly opens. Xiao Yu is going in when Lianzhi walks first.

An abandoned lab. It's quite dark because the electricity has stopped running. Only few emergency lights shed a little light down here.
