Today was the day. The day Brian and the other guys were finally coming home. Rachel and Kassi anxiously awaited his arrival at the airport gate. Kassi sat comfortably on Rachel's hip, smiling in anticipation. Suddenly the gate door opened and passengers began spilling out, diverging in different directions. Kassi was first to spot her father in his backwards yankee cap and grey hoodie.
"There he is!" Kassi squealed and wiggled to remove herself from Rachel's grasp. Rachel set her down and smiled as she watched her daughter beeline straight for her dad. Brian still hadn't noticed them until he heard a little voice he had been dying to hear for over two weeks. "Daddy!" Kassi shouted happily.
His eyes found her and he instantly smiled brightly. He dropped his bags and bent down to scoop her up into his embrace. Kassi held on tightly to his neck and smiled when she felt his arms hold her securely.
"God I missed you, babygirl." He exclaimed shutting his eyes and refusing to let her go.
"I missed you too, daddy." She spoke, leaning her head back to smile at him.
He admired her smile and felt his own lips start to turn upwards. He had missed this kid more than he ever thought possible. He kissed her cheek and gave her another good squeeze before setting her down so she could greet her three other uncles who were standing by. Then he looked up and locked eyes with his other girl that he'd missed so much. Rachel smiled at him and sauntered up to him, wrapping her arms around his neck for a hug. His strong arms engulfed her waist and held onto her as tight as he could.
"I missed you." He whispered against her ear.
"I missed you more." She whispered back and pulled away before Kassi was to notice.
He smiled down at her and she smiled up at him before they migrated back to everyone else.
Once everyone had been hugged and welcomed home, they all made their way out of the airport. Kassi was walking slightly ahead of Brian and Rachel who were ahead of the three other guys. Noticing Kassi wasn't paying attention, Brian took the opportunity to reach his pinky out, brushing it against Rachel's. She looked down and realized what he was doing, so she wrapped her pinky securely around his. Brian smiled down at their connected hands and then trailed his gaze up to her eyes. As the two smiled at each other, lost in their own little world, Joe began to catch on.
He smirked noticing their pinkies and their smiles. Then he nudged Sal, who wasn't paying attention, and motioned his head towards the two in front of them. Sal followed his motion and quickly caught onto what was happening. He looked at Joe and they each shook their head at their best friend who was clearly falling in love...again.

Upon arriving home Brian, Rachel, and Kassi proceeded to spend the whole day curled up on the couch cuddling and watching movies. Kassi sat comfortably between the two adults and occasionally Brian would reach behind her and rest his hand on Rachel's shoulder or play with the ends of her hair, just needing to touch her after so long of not being able to. Although, as much as he enjoyed making up for lost time with his two girls, he couldn't wait to get Kassi to bed. He still hadn't even kissed Rachel and the urge to just grab her face and crash their lips together was growing stronger with each passing minute.
After dinner, Brian was more than happy to get Kassi ready for bed, read her a story, and tuck her in. While they sat contently in Kassi's bed, Rachel had her own plan she was working on to show Brian how much she missed him.
She quickly changed into a purple lace lingerie set that always used to be Brian's favorite and did her best to neatly apply some sexy makeup in the short time she had. She laid back on the bed, resting on her elbows and watching the door, waiting for Brian to walk in.
