24| Aunt Rosella

After the chat with my father I made my way to our living room on the first floor.

Just as I take the last step Alexandros comes in from the front doors.

He looks at me as he starts to talk.

"Just in time. Perfect. I brought the car to the front. Whenever your ready we can go.

I smile at him.

"Great, if it's fine with you we can go to my favorite cafe in the city. You will love it."

He nods.

"Lead the way."

15 minutes later

Stoping the car and turning off the engine I motion to my favorite cafe.

"We have arrived. You see that beautiful cafe?"

He looks out the window from the car, "Yes, looks extravagant to be a cafe."

"It is. I know the owner."

He looks at me while asking, "The owner?"

"It's none other than Matthew's mother. Aunt Rosella has great taste."

"Wow, what doesn't your family own."

"The White House lol. We are well off but it didn't happen without sacrifice and hard work. I hope to one day be as successful as my father."

I finish as I look at my aunts cafe.

Realizing that I don't know anything about him besides his name and job, I decide to ask him more questions.

"So tell me, why a bodyguard?"

I catch him looking at me at me as I turn my head to face him.

"Let's head inside and you can ask me as many questions as you would like."

Inside the Cafe

After ordering we start chatting about the inside of the cafe.

"Your aunt Rosella surely has good taste."

As if cue aunt Rosella appears.

"I sure do, haven't you seen my man."

She smiles widely as she mentions uncle Easton.

"Aunt Rosella, I didn't know you were here other wise I would have said hello."

She simply waves her hand, "Honey it's fine. I wasn't here until a couple of minutes just in time to hear this handsome man complement my taste."

I smile, I love her.

"Oh, aunt this is Alexandros Cavill."

He stands up while Reaching out his hand but was surprised when aunt Rosella hugs him.

"Lovely name. Take care of my beautiful niece, by the way has no one told you that you two make a cute couple."

I choke on my water.

"Oh no aunt Rosella. We are just getting to know one another professionally."

"Professionally?!" She questions.

"Yes, mam. I am her new bodyguard."

"What a shame. Both of you are beautiful, but would be even more beautiful together."

A voice comes from the entrance of the cafe.

"My Rose".

I look to see my uncle Easton calling her.

She giggles as she sees him.

"Love, I am here with Cartia and Alexandros. Come say Hola".

He makes his way to us and wraps a arm around aunt Rosella's waist.

"My favorite niece, how are you?"

Getting up I hug him.

"Better, thank you."

He looks at Alexandros. "Alexandros glad to see you, hope you are doing well."

Alexandros

"I am doing well, thanks."

I say as we firmly shake hands.

After that they excuse themselves and wish us a great rest of the day.

"Your aunt Rosella and uncle Easton seem to be great people".

"Oh they are. They are an amazing couple. Opposites lol. Aunt Rosella is super warm while uncle Easton is more cold until you crack the surface."

"So tell me why be a bodyguard?"

Alexandros looks at me in the eyes as he responds, "Simple. I am good at it."

"Is that all?"

"No, also because I am stronger than any human."

Before I get to question him about being stronger than any human he asks me a question that makes me even more confuse.

He looks vulnerable while saying, "What took you so long to finally be part of my life?"
