Cartia After cleaning the dishes from breakfast I am ready to start getting prepare for today.
Walking towards Duccio I tap him on the shoulder since he is talking on the phone. He faces the window that gives a clear view of outside the house.
He keeps talking to whoever is on the other line as he turns around and looks at me.
I mouth to him that I will head upstairs to get ready.
He just nods as he smiles.
In Cartia's Room
I am just about to be done when I hear a knock on my door.
"Come in" I say as I am tying my shoes.
Standing up I look in the mirror, pleased with my casual look I turn around to find Duccio look at me.

He asks, "Are you ready?"
I get my black coat and respond, "Yes, should we head out".
We head together down the stairs as we make our way to the garage to his car.
Just as I am about to enter his car he holds the door open for me to go in making me blush a bit.
"Thanks", I tell him and he simply just nods.
Inside the car I wait for him to get inside from the driver side, but I see one of my dads guards approaching Duccio.
They exchange some words and once I am about to see what it is happening the guard nodes at Duccio and leaves.
Duccio enter the car and buckles, I am curious as to what happened.
Looking at Duccio I ask him what happened.
Duccio starts the car as he responds to me.
"He just wanted to know where we where heading and he wanted to come with us, but I told him that I will take care of you. He must be informing your dad right now since I told him to call him."
I silently just face the road.
My phone starts to ring, I see that it's a call from Matthew.
Smiling I answer right away, "Hola Matthew!! What have you done now??".
Matthew
"What do you mean what I have done? I am a good man!!".
I hear Cartia laugh making me laugh too since I know I am not innocent.
"Are you serious Matthew, you are far from being an angel and you know it".
"Okay you got me there, I was just calling to let you know that the party is tomorrow".
"WHAT?! MATTHEW I have not chosen he dress for tomorrow, Am not prepare at all."
I hold the phone back to my ear since I don't want to be deaf from her screaming.
"You will be, you must it's a situation of life or death. What if she is a mean or if she..." I don't finish since Cartia interrupts me.
"Matthew we will know tomorrow now bye I have some shopping to do ASAP, take care. Love you".
She hangs up and I just breath out, hoping this girl that my dad wants me to marry isn't someone crazy.
Cartia I hang up and just as I am about to tell Duccio that we will do some shopping he asks me a question.
"Boyfriend?".
"No, but Best friend yeah. We need to do some shopping I hope you don't mind."
Afternoon
We are entering the house laughing at a joke that Duccio said.
"Ahh I see you both are bonding just well."
"Father, yes we are. How was your day?"
"The usual sweet heart, now what is all those bags that you have there for?".
I tell him that I will go to the party with Matthew, which he knows about since uncle Easton told him already.
Duccio looks at both my dad and me as says, "Okay, we should freshen up and have some dinner."
