16| Liquor's Companion

Alexandros
I get as soon as possible to where she was last seen.

As I arrive I see her uncle and aunt, the famous Silver's.

Matthew is holding his hair with one hand while walking back and forward as he is on the phone with someone.

"You are here, Alexandros see personally if our team can find anything," Eaton Silver orders.

Nodding my head I pick up my phone.

Calling my both the Silvers and Andrr teams I start giving the men orders as to what they have to start doing as soon as possible.

I was handling business as per usual at my home office.

My phone started to ring and judging by the time it must be important.

"Hello East.." I was interrupted and that's when I knew my world had come down crashing in a second.

I ended the call and dial Alexandros. He is supposed to be in top of things.

He answers his phone, "Hello Mr. Andrr how is everything?".

"Fine her, she was your priority. If anything happens to her you will wish you would had never met or crossed me!!!".

Ending the call made me feel lost and anxious.

Waking to the window in my office I start to think who could possibly be behind this and be so damn stupid to mess with me.

If you know me then it's pretty clear that I don't fear anything except losing Cartia. She is everything I have left of my gorgeous wife.

It's been years since I lost my Perla. She was my everything in this world. I can clearly remember how my heart felt 19 years ago.

- Memory -
Holding her cold hand tight I realized that my Perla had been taken away from this world. I was devastated, feeling some tears roll down my face.

Hearing a baby's cry I start looking where it had come from and that's when I saw her, Cartia.

Perla had always talked to me about how she would love to name our first daughter Cartia. Now that she wasn't here with us, Cartia's name would always be a reminder that she would never be forgotten.

Getting closer to the nurse who held her I felt and knew that I would protect her at all cost.

She was beyond beautiful, she looked just like her mother.

Cartia stop crying as soon as the nurse handled her into my arms.

I had never cry in front of anyone but as soon as the baby open her eyes I saw the most beautiful eyes. Those eyes that only one other person once held.

My heart was torn between happiness and sadness.

Waking closer to Perla, I position Cartia where both could see each other even if one was in heaven.

Staring outside my window I know that I need to find my daughter as soon as possible.

Turning to walk to my liquor cabin I make myself a drink.

The burning sensation is what makes me realize that this is no fucking dream.
