I would like to know what is your favorite part of Cartia so far, this would motivate me even more to keep updating sooner.
Cartia
As soon as we arrived home my father, uncle Easton and Matthew started asking question about my well-being.
"Nothing really happened, thank God. But if none of you would had arrived I would have been in bad shape."
"Cartia, did they mentioned anything or why they took you?"
My father asked.
"Not really, I was knocked out for most of the time. As soon as I woke up I saw that I was tied up. Two men came into the basement where I was, not with good intentions."
I can hear all of them say mierda.
My father came to me and hugged me tight.
"I don't know what I would do if I lost you too. From now on you will have a bodyguard, his name is Alexandros."
Looking around I found those piercing blue eyes.
Alexandros looked at all of us from where he was standing near the entrance door.
"Alexandros?!"
"Yes, he is very skilled and one of the best. He will notify me of anything that happens around you. It's for your protection".
My uncle Easton comes near me and ruffles my hair as he hugs me.
"Well we will give you time to get to know each other while we take care of business and see who was stupid enough to plan this kidnapped".
I simply nod as he looks over at me one last time before him and dad leave.
Alexandros
Silence, no one speaks as I look at her.
"Well, this is awkward. I will simply leave and go to the fridge since I am starving."
Matthews' announcement makes me laugh a bit.
Why did I ever felt the need to rip him apart.
In my defense I didn't know he was just Cartia's cousin.
Putting my thoughts away I start walking near her.
Reaching in front of her I gently touch her face.
"How is she this beautiful?" I find myself asking.
She leans in closer to me and closes her eyes as I grab her from her waist and hold her even closer to me if possible.
Chest to chest I feel content.
She is safe and in my arms.
I never answered her questions but that's for another day. Right now I just want to be close to her.
"You have been destined to be mine even before time, my beautiful Cartia."
