Broken heart
When the girl you loved dared to say no
You returned the ring
Sadness clinging to your skin
And I'm picking up the pieces
Of one of your
Heart first, head later loves
Your precious tears form pools on the floor
I almost can't take this anymore
The only thing keeping me
From tearing out my heart
And giving it to you
Is the broken piece
Of flesh inside your chest
That aches for another's love
And all my senses come to life
When you hug me I try to find my boundaries
But when you're seeking comfort
Of only an inoccent kind
I can't help that
My crazily ensnared heart
Wants so much more
Than you want to give
I know all of your mistakes
And I'll kiss away every one
Let me heal you
The only way I know how
A/N: The picture is on the highway on the way to my grandparents house.
