A/N:This chapter is dedicated to @paeesha because they were one of my first readers. A paragraph! I must have been abducted! I'm just trying to try something different, florilegium by @nostalgiia has something similar.
Life in the cable car was interesting. There will always people going in and out, on phones or staring out the window quietly. The driver was always nice. Some of them knew him by name. It was fun to switch it up, go on a different route. In the day time, with all the people, the cable car was the best place in the world. But when the doors closed, and the car was empty, it was a desolate place. The workers tried again and again to convince him to leave. The looks he sometimes got from the passengers were also dismal. Those were the type that were going to the rental place after their luxury car got scratched. They liked those Bluetooth phone things, talking obnoxiously loud with their tailored suits or designer dresses. Sometimes the meanest ones of all were the half-asleep, dirty, grouchy people. He made sure to smile at them the most. Life in the cable car was interesting.
