Sunshine falls
Droplets of dew
On a broken window pane
Tears are crystals
That shatter the silence of our life
You scowl hides your pain
I can't keep away
If life is but a chase
Will I ever catch you?
Crawl on your knees
Before you run on your feet
Create a feeling in someone's soul
Buried deep and blatantly bright
Out in daylight your eyes shine through
Your skin looks blue
Laughter flies behind me
My toes dig into mud
My breath in pants
The thrill of the chase
Is all I have left in my weary life
One of these days
You'll let me in
And I can tell the world
Of all my sins
Because your love will give me strength
To give in... to hope.
