Jay quickly went over to the district to meet voight.
He left Hailey a note saying where he is.

Voight? What is going on?
Jay asked, approaching his desk.
There stood Voight holding a file, and playing a video.
This is Gregory Yates' cell mate over at StatesVille.
Voight said.
Jay's eyes went wide.
Yes it is, what about it?
Well Jay, he escaped custody today...
Voight said avoiding eye contact with Jay.
He what? Jay confused on why Voight called him over.
His name is Damien Foster, he was put to a life sentence of 25 years for murdering four teen girls.
Voight said.

Jay thought about what Voight just said, then he realized how similar Damiens murders were to Yates' murders.
Wait, what are you trying to imply here.
Jay asked, now worried.
What I am implying Halstead, is that there is a murderer on the loose, as a very sneaky one at that.
Voight said all sassy.Well why didn't you get the WHOLE unit here.
Jay said with even more sass.
It's because Halstead, I trust you. I trust you a lot actually.
Jay was flabbergasted at the words voight just said, he smiled and acknowledged what his Sarg had just said.
Anything else about him I should know?
He asked.
Yes actually, the officers in charge told me that when Yates was alive he would tell Foster EVERYTHING, from who he killed to who he wanted to kill.
Voight said intensely.
What do you mean by who? Your not saying that Foster escaped to kill-

Jay was cut off by the presence of Adam.
Voight and Jay didn't realize that it was almost seven am, work time.

*Back at Hailey's apartment*
Hailey woke up to the sound of an alarm. Jay set it for her before he left.
She then picked up the note Jay left.
It was strange to her that Voight willingly wanted to see Jay.
She discarded her thoughts and got ready for work.
*Back at the district*
Atwater, Al, Kim, Hailey and Antonio arrived at the district.
Voight waited for the whole unit to get there before he told anything to Adam.

Alright today's case is a big one.
Voight said once everyone arrived.
An inmate over at State-ville escaped, Damien Foster.
Yes he was Yates' cellmate.
Cameras caught him hopping into a Black Sudan. I'm going to have Mouse run the plate but the unit over there said that it looks like the plate was from New York.
Jays head jerked up.
He thought Voight told him everything, clearly it wasn't everything.
Jay thought that it was confirmed, Foster was going after -

Hailey waved her hand over Jay's face.
Earth to partner, we need to head over to Statesville.
Hailey said in a sing-songy tune.
Jay snapped out of his horrible thoughts, and followed Hailey to their car.
