Chapter 10

Alexa POV
April 9th, 2014
I'm packing. My last magcon is tomorrow. I have mixed emotions. But I understand that I must leave because of what Bart may have done with me. I no longer have parents. I no longer have Jack. I no longer live in Nebraska. Here's to a new me. Here's to a new life.

Later tonight
Alexa POV
Nash and Cameron left for Magcon in Daytona, FL earlier than us. Sam, Shawn, Maddie and I sat as far away from the devil himself, Jack Gilinsky, as possible. I kinda felt bad for Jack Johnson. He was kind of forced to sit with him, even though they're not speaking either. I am sit in between Shawn and Maddie and Sam is on the other side of Maddie. I plug in my headphones and of course the first song to come on is "Flights" I press skip. Note to self: Delete that song. Or keep it because Jack J's rap is fire. Ordinary Day by Vanessa Carlton plays. Eh okay. I lay my head on Shawn's shoulder because we are both tired and Sam and Maddie are wide awake.
Sam POV
Since Maddie and I are bored and Alexa and Shawn are sleeping, we are playing uno. Maddie didn't have a red, so she is drawing cards. She draws three and gives up.
"Eh your turn." She says. I lay down a red draw two.
"Draw two." I say. I feel a pair of eyes watching, and I look up to see Jack.
"Whatever, maybe I'll draw a red this time." She mumbles, but I'm not really paying attention. I narrow my eyes at Jack and he looks away. (A/N I love Maddie and Sam's relationship ya'll.. Maddie is like the second sister Sam never had <3 it's so cute and I love it.)

Jack POV
"Wow Sam you so scare me, you and Maddie are just over there playing uno, ok. I have been staring at Alexa for like the pat forty five minutes. Call me stalker. Okay listen I'm just salty because she skipped flights! What! She helped me write that I mean come on. Homie fucking hopper. Oh great getting all cuddly with Shawn. I hate him. Look at him. He's Canadian and adorable! Fuck." I said out loud to Jack.

"Jack not to be hella rude but yes to be hella rude because I'm pissed at you but do you actually stop talking." Jack J says and then hits me. "And staring. God leave her alone Jack. Shes not a homie hopper and She's out of your league anyways. You're such a fuckboy." He said rolling his eyes.

"You know what Johnson how do I not be a fuckboy?" I ask.

"You don't sleep with every girl with a pulse. Or lie. Or talk to more than one girl at once. Especially when you're out on a "date". That was just plain stupid. I get Jack, it's hard for you. But don't with Alexa. We've known her since she was born. And Sam was our best friend. I'm proud of Alexa for standing her ground. " Jack J said.

"Well god, sorry I'm not you. Alexa has it so easy" I scoff.

"Are you fucking kidding me? Her life is far from so easy. I don't know if you know this but Alexa and Sam no longer have parents. And Alexa lied to her friends and brother just to cover you up to go on a date. Tell me how that's easy." He said.

Alexa and Sam lost their parents? Alexa lied to go with me?
"Jack I didn't know.." I said.

"Of course you didn't. You wanna know why? Cause you're an ignorant asshole slash fuck boy who only cares about getting high, getting laid and what's in it for you." He snapped.

"I don't need this from you." I said quietly.

"And that's where you're wrong. Someone needs to tell you how you need to take a moment to step back and look around you to see the damage you've done. Until you wanna fix yourself, don't expect me to be your best friend, or friend at all." He says getting up and grabbing his stuff to walk to the back of the plane to sit next to Shawn. They all greet him. I lean back I my seat facing forward. I'm alone.

Alexa POV
I'm half awake when I see Jack Johnson walking back here.
"Jaaaaack!!" I say. He smiles.
"Welcome to the dark side." Sam says.
"Apple Jack!" Maddie says.
"I love you guys and Shawn you're my man." Jack says.
"Jack's in the back." He says back.
"Shawn. Dude. Jacks in the back and it's time for the rap sick of the same crap coming home to an empty place I just need to fill the space with something like you they say it's always better with two." He pauses. "Shawn, you're a genius." He says getting out a pencil and paper.
Jack sings the rap again Sam chips in. "So let me know who you are. You're not a regular shining star. I feel kinda like water cause girl I'm fallin for you."
"Wow I can actually feel the creative juices flowin" I said.
"Mix tape soon boiiii." Jack said high giving Sam.
"You guys should let Shawn sing the chorus. If you make one" Maddie says.
"Totally! That's actually be rad. Heck, we should all be in it. Maddie and Alexa can sing." Jack said. Maddie and I shake our heads in a "nah" way but Jack pushes us, disagreeing.
"Omaha squad..damn it" Sam said.
"Yeah we can't use that" Shawn said.
"JAMS" I said. They all looked at me confused.
"Jack, Alexa, Maddie, Shawn and Sam...JAMS." I say.
"JAMS" They all say excitedly. "Squad squad" Jack said.
~at airport~
We get out luggage and get off. Jack Gilinsky is no where in sight. We spy Mahogany, Taylor, Matthew, Cameron, Nash, Aaron at the airport.
Matthew runs up to me.
"WIFE!!" He says. Everyone on Twitter was talking about how I'm basically "Mom" of the magcon group and Matthew is "Dad" so technically were married. Matthew hugs me and kisses me on the cheek. I hug back.
"How are the children?" He asks. He's taking this so seriously. I let out a sound of laughter.
"I got them here in one piece." I say. He smiles and greets Maddie, Shawn, Sam and Jack.
"MOM!!" Aaron and Taylor say while jumping on me. Mahogany grips my hand and hugs me. "I'm sorry about Gilinksy." She whispers. I pull back and shrug. "It's okay." I weekly smile.
We spend a few hours hanging out. No sign of Jack. I didn't mind.

We were playing truth or dare in the hangout area on the 3rd floor. A somewhat drunk/high Jack G walks in with a blonde on each arm...what the fuck. Cameron puts his arm around me. I lean back, my arms supporting me, my legs stretched out in front.
"Um Jack? Where have you been" Taylor asks.
"Making gains" he says, flexing.
"But you don't make gains? You get tired of benching the bar." Shawn says, everyone laughs.
"Not those kind of gains. I'm making girl gains" he looks straight at me. Nash grabs my hand. Sam stands up to Jack. But doesn't talk to him, but to the blondes.
"I think you girls should get going. Late night. We have to be up early in the morning." He smiles.
"But the party is just getting started!" One whines.
"Yeah Sam. Two blondes. Come join the party." Jack says, and winking.
"Please ladies I don't want any trouble with the manager. People who are not staying at this hotel are not allowed to be here. I will let you girls get in free tomorrow if you please just leave." He said as nicely as he could. They obeyed.
"Wow Sam. No longer the life of the party. Lame!" Jack said.
"Oh you know you can join them Jack, as a matter of fact why don't you. You aren't wanted here right now." Sam said.
"If it's cuz I fucked someone while liking your sister...I said I was sorry!" He said walking backwards and stumbling to catch up with the blondes. A tear formed in my eye. Everyone turned their head to me. The tear rolled down my cheek.
"Hey...hey look at me" Cameron said. He hugged me. "You can handle this. Cheaters never win. Remember that." He said.

I get really tired. Maddie and I are sharing a room with Nash and Cameron. Which means Maddie and Nash will want to share a bed, leaving me with Cameron. I'm okay with it I guess, I mean He's my best friend and a good cuddler. Taylor, Aaron and Matt and Shawn are sharing a room. Sam and Jack and Jack are sharing a room which is awkward as hell, but maybe Jack won't come back here tonight.
"Right or left?" Cameron asks me.
"Agh you pick." I say.
"Alexa you always say that. Then I make you pick and you choose right, so I'll take left to make it easy." He says while laughing.
"Freak" I joke. "I'm spooning you by the way." I say.
"Can we not spoon? It's awkward. Why can't you do the thing on Twitter where the guy is laying on his back with his arms behind his head and you lay on your side and wrap your arm and leg around me?" He asks.

"You explained that so weird. But fine." I say.

"Can you guys stop talking? Tryna sleep" Nash says.

"With the light on?" I ask.

"I love you alexa" Maddie says, her head on Nash's chest.

"I love you madz" I say.

Cameron hits the light and tackles me. He squished my arm and it stings. "Ow! Cameron that hurt." I say.

"Sorry are my muscles too intimidating for you?" He asks, jokingly.

"Oh shut up" I say hitting him.

"I swear yall are married" Nash says.

"I'm only fifteen" I remind him

"Age is just a number bby I don't care I just wanna be with u" Cameron says to me, jokingly

"I wanna be with me too. In my own bed. Watching netflix" I say

"Who would you cuddle with?" Cameron asks

"Myself" I answer.

"You're too much. But I'm cold so please cuddle me slave" Cameron says

"Ummm excuse me. You're the slave. I'm a queen" I say. Cuddling him.

"Guys we have got to be up early tomorrow. So please sleep." Maddie says. And we do just that.
