Chapter 16

Jack G. POV
"Hey you know what? I should be allowed to talk to Alexa if I want to." I said. "You guys can't protect her so much. We should be able to talk about what went on."

Nash thought for a moment.
"Fine I guess you're right. But she might not want to talk to you." He wrote down her number.
Nash turns to Jack J.
"I'll leave you the car. I'll call in über. See you later man?" He asks.
"Forsure." Johnson says. He leaves.
"Since when are you and Nash bffs?" I ask, bluntly.
"Since you left me for a bunch of hoes and started being a dick to everyone. Now get changed we're leaving." Johnson says.
Alexa POV
"This is so cool, Alexa!!" Maddie says, I laugh.
"Okay. Fan girl moment here, I'm totally in love with Nick Robinson. He's got that romance novel stare" She gazes at him as he drinks water.
"Eh he's a little pretty." I say. All of a sudden he begins walking towards us.
Maddie freezes.
"Hi I couldn't help but overhearing you ladies talk about me." Nick says.
"Oh, that was her." I point at Maddie.
"Hey nice to meet you." He holds his hand out for her to shake. She doesn't move.
"Hey I'm Alexa Wilkinson. This is my best friend Maddie, she's kind of a fan." I say.
"Alexa Wilkinson I've heard about you before. Ahhh, you're our director's mentee. And your brother is Sam, isn't it?" He asks.
"Wow I didn't know he was that well known." I look at Maddie, she shrugs.
"You're Nash's girl friend aren't you?" He says to Maddie.
"Yeah how do you know that?" She finally speaks up.
"My little sister loves Nash. She went to the Magcon in San Fran and came home crying because she found out Nash has a girlfriend, she's 13." He says.
"So if you're our director's mentee you probably wanna know a lot about the show. I can help you with that. Say we grab coffee after the shoot tomorrow- 2pm?" He asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah that'd be great." I smile.
"Well it was nice meeting you both but back to shooting." We wave. After a moment Maddie grabs my arm and drags me to the bathroom.
"You just got asked out by Nick Robinson!!" Maddie squeals.
"Will you keep it down. And it's not a date remember I don't want a boyfriend right now." I say.
"Who cares it's Nick Robinson!" Maddie says.
"I care and it's worse than Jack he is 4 years older than me." I say fixing my part.
"So what? He's total babe." She swoons.
"Then why don't you date him?" I ask sarcastically.
She hits me. "What I'm trying to say is you should give him a chance."
"Look it's just coffee, he'll give me some tips about the show, hopefully get me access to parties and I'll move up in the ranks that's it." I say. My phone starts to ring. Some Omaha number. I ignore it.
"Who was that?" Maddie asks.
"No idea." I say. We walk out of the bathroom.
Madison Beer POV- OMG
"Nick Robinson huh? Interesting" I say, washing my hands.
Jack's POV
"Hey it's Alexa sorry I missed your call just leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can"
*to phone*
"Hey it's Jack um we need to talk about stuff I want to apologize for everything and be on good terms, I don't like not being at least friends with you. So call me when you get this"
I walk back inside. Jack and I found an apartment we could rent for a little while until we get enough money to buy the house.
"Home sweet home. Sort of." He says.
Alexa POV
Maddie and I finally get here and I recognized Madison's combat boots at the door. Great.
"I have a missed call and voicemail from that number." I say to Maddie.
"Call them back." Maddie says.
"Maybe it's from your new boyfriend, Nick Robinson." Madison Beer says and appears out of freaking no where.
"I don't have a boyfriend" I say.
"Oh really. Then why are you going to get coffee with him tomorrow." She says pouting.
"CAMERON!!!!!!" Maddie yells.
"It's for work Madison. Something you wouldn't know of since all you ever do is live at OUR house" Maddie says.
"She's not even worth it M. It's really none of her business. She can think what she wants." I say brushing past her.
"Glam magazine and the paps can think what they want to." She says raising her phone.
"I bet it wouldn't look good for either of you since you're the slut and he just got out of a relationship." She says.
"You didn't." I clench my teeth.
"No not yet. But I will." She smiles.
"What's going on down here?" Cameron asks.
"Oh hi baby!" Madison says kissing his cheek.
"Cameron can I talk to you for a second?" I ask. He nods to the living room. Maddie sticks out her you be at Madison. I tell him everything that happened today.
"It's not a date cam he's just helping me so I can exceed and get a real job. And if the news find out." I sigh "I'm supposed to be boyfriend-less and he just got out of a relationship."
"I'll talk to her and make sure she won't do anything." He says.
"By the way tell her you know she slid into Sam's dm's saying he was cute." I say. Cameron grunts.
"I'll take care of it." He friendly kisses me on the cheek.
Maddie and I go to my room.
"Mad listen to this voicemail with me I'm scared." I laugh.
*over speaker*
"Hey it's Jack um we need to talk about stuff I want to apologize for everything and be on good terms, I don't like not being at least friends with you. So call me when you get this."
"Should I call him?" I ask her.
"Yeah it's been a while, just do it. What's the damage?" She asks.
I call the number. I put it on speaker.
A= Alexa, J= Jack, M= Maddie
J: hello?
A: Hey it's Alexa.
M: And Maddie!!
J: Hey guys.
A: What's up?
J: Can Jack and I come over for a little? We should set some things straight.
A: Yeah that's fine.
M: Tell Johnson he owes me a pack of Cosmic Browines because I beat him in darts yesterday
Johnson: Dang it
J: Okay see you then
A & M: Bye
I look at her. She shrugs
Maddie and I go downstairs. The front door opens.
"IM BACK WITH GROCERIES!!!" Nash yells.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP" Madison yells.
"We'll help you." I say.
"I'm getting real tired of that bitch." Nash says.
"Hi babe." He says to Madison. "Hey loser." She says back then kisses him. "The Jacks are coming over." She says.
"Both of them?" He asks.
"Yeah." I nod.
"I figure Jack and I should just move on, it's sort of childish." I respond.
We finish carrying in the groceries from the über driver's car. We wave. The Jacks pull up in Nash's car.
"Hey." Nash opens the door for them.
"Gilinsky and Alexa to the the living room! Johnson and Nash to the kitchen I'm hungry!" Maddie says trying to lighten the room.
We go to our assigned places.
"So.." I start.
"So..." He says. "I really just wanted to apologize for everything. I'm owning my actions with no excuses except acting like the dick I was. I shouldn't of led you on like that. I did really like you but I thought being tied down to one girl was lame so I talked to other girls anyway. And I was really jealous about Shawn and Cam and Kyle or whatever his name is when I had no reason to be so I'm sorry." He finishes. Cam awkwardly comes downstairs and scurries into the kitchen.
"I never understand why guys do what you did. You should've at least told me what was going on instead of trying to hide it from me. You had no right to feel jealous after what you did to me. You kinda sorta broke my heart" I sympathy smile. "But it's in the past and nonetheless I forgive you. And for future reference think before you act." I say.
"So...friends?" He asks smiling.
"Just friends." I say. He looked at me weird.
But then we go in for a hug. That's when Nash, Cam, Johnson and Maddie all come from the kitchen and hug me.
"Yay for friends!!" Maddie says. Madison walks downstairs with full make up on and a nice dress. Not even gonna lie, I'm kind of jealous of how pretty she is. But it isn't natural...
Everyone looks at her. But there's only one guy she's making eye contact with. Jack Gilinsky.
She walks right towards him. "Cameron you haven't introduced me to your other friends." She says still eyeing Jack G. He looks really uncomfortable...
"Oh uh Gilinsky, Johnson this is my girlfriend Madison Beer, Madison this is Jack Gilinsky, and Jack Johnson." He says.
"Nice to meet you boys." She says biting her lip. I cross my arms and roll my eyes.
"Where are you guys off to?" Maddie asks.
"A few of my friends throwing a ball. I mean you could come but I don't really like you." She says.
"I mean you could come but I dont really like you" Maddie mimics her.
"We'd better get going." Cam says. We all wave at him.
"God what does he see in that freaking bitch?!" I say.
"Well I hate her." Maddie says with her hands up in defense.
"Guys I think she eye raped me." Jack G says.
"Well she did say she like bang 5/5 of the Omaha squad." Nash says.
"Girls included." Maddie says with a wink. She laughs.
"Screw whatever they're doing I snagged Justin Bieber's number from her phone!" I say. I put it on speaker.
J= Justin A= Alexa
J= Hello?
A= Hey Justin this is Alexa Wilkinson and I'm here with Nash Grier, Jack Gilinsky, Jack Johnson and Maddie Williams. Your friend Madison just left out house with plans and said we could call you if we were bored
J= Oh hey wassup! I've heard about you guys can't wait to meet u in person. Yeah come on over I'm having a huge party tonight I'll text you address.
A= Great! Thanks so much.

(A/n Guys I'm sure Madison doesn't really act like this in real life! I'm not really a fan of her but no hate. She and Cameron were a thing at the time so she kind of got rounded into the story. Plus this will introduce her flings with all the other guys so it will be interesting. Thanks for the reads and votes!!)
