Oh Boy...What Did I Just Do?

Macyn.

It's amazing what goes on inside a crowd, especially at a beach party.

The more I pushed through the crowd, the more consumed I became.

I can't tell you how many times I got elbowed or kicked, and yes, even slapped!

There are some crazy scenes happening as well. I see girls fighting over some guy's shoe...

Talk about desperate!

Then there's a group of drunk jocks making up their own dance moves.

But honestly?

They look like epileptics on crack.

It smells positively awful, like body odor and beer...

Oh my God! Are they seriously stripping each other right here?! I say to myself as I put a hand up to my face to block my view of the revolting makeout session next to me.

I need to get out of here, and fast.

Fear is creeping up my spine, causing my whole body to start tingling.

I can feel my chest tighten, my breath is shortening.

It happens like clock-work.

Claustrophobia is starting to settle in quickly... And it's only a matter of time before I start to have a full blown panic attack.

I'm desperately searching for some sort of opening to make my final dodge of escape.

The song finally ends, so the people starts to separate. I can finally see a pathway starting form in the crowd.

I make a dash for it, my breath already scarce and my body shaking. Just as I reach the end, I crash into another person.

Of course.

But this time, they actually caught me...Thankfully.

I snap my head up to meet those familiar smoky-blue eyes.

"Oh, Benson! Thank God." I wrapped my arms around his torso, I don't think I've ever been happier to see him than at that very moment. He returns my hug, but it's obviousl from his slight stiffness that he is quite confused.

"Geez, Mace...What happened to you? I looked for you everywhere!"

I pull back and run my fingers through my hair.

I take a deep breath and start to talk really fast, "Well I was gonna leave but then I decided not to and I think the punch is actually spiked and then I ran into someone and my drink spilled all over and now I am freaking out because I practically died in that huge crowd-"

"Mace, Macyn!"

He grabs my shoulders.

I look up to see him laughing and shaking his head.

"I swear you evolved from a goldfish sometimes! Now, why are you holding your shirt again?"

If I hadn't have decided to look down at my hand I wouldn't have remembered that I am in fact still holding my crumpled up tank top.

And with that I double over... Laughing.

It's as if my brain is no longer controlling my actions for the moment. Benson laughed a little too, but he is totally confused.

Poor guy, I thought.

I must be really starting to feel the effects of the punch now.

When my fit of laughter is finally under control I open my mouth to tell him about my run in with Ryder, how he pissed me off and I ended up taking my shirt off in front of him.
