Macyn.

I can remember the day Rick decided to strike. It was the ending of ninth grade... His senior year.

Graduation was in about three weeks, and he and his brother, a.k.a Ryder, were still the infamous duo they had always been in school. Rick was incredibly hot. In fact, he was the hottest guy in school- hands down- as well as the most popular.

Hell, Drew was even friends with him.

He could be a sweet-talker- charming you 'til your heart melted, make you feel like no one else mattered… Or he could make you think he was your only option.

And that’s how he got every single girl in his bed.

So, unfortunately, Rick decided that he could get me by calling me a whore. An “unwanted” whore, to be exact.

Not a day went by that he didn’t come up to me, whispering his idea of sweet nothings.

Hey Whore.

 Miss me, Whore?

Who else would want you but me?

He would touch me. And I don’t mean just a bump on the arm, or a gentle tap on the shoulder. He was… Forceful.

Well, one day, we were cleaning out our marching band’s storage room. I was in charge of the color guard uniforms, sorting through the beautiful outfits.

I felt so stupid for imagining wearing them and looking good.

But can you blame me?

It was a farfetched hope of course, me being chubby and not at all attractive. But I just let myself think of being sexy, just for once.

I remember standing there, not even paying attention to the world around me, when his rough hands wrapped around me.

"Keep dreaming, Whore. You'd manage to make that outfit look like trash. Hell, you make everything look like trash.” He shrugged at those words, and I could feel him watching me.

“You’re lucky you have such a wonderful, sweet guy like me who actually wants such a pathetic girl like you.”

Closing my eyes, I can picture the scene as if it’s happening in front of me.

My cheeks started burning with anger and humiliation. I whirled around and stared straight into his dark, malicious eyes.

'He smells like alcohol', I remember thinking as he smirked at me.

"You know what Rick? I'm sick of hearing your nasty comments about me! Yeah, you’re right, my body sure isn’t something to look at. But seriously, do you have to constantly shove it in my face?!”
