Midoriya's POV:

I checked the mail, there were a few envelopes and some junk mail. I walked into the kitchen, where my mom was making lunch, "the mails here," I told her, then placed it on the table and went through it, I threw out all of the useless ads for sketchy ramen stores and markets that no one goes to anymore, then placed the envelopes for mom on the table. "OH. MY. GOD!" I screamed, "Izuku! Are you okay!?" Mom yelled from the kitchen, hurrying over, "I'm fine," I said excitedly, she placed her hand on her heart and breathed out deeply, "don't scare me like that, what happened?" I held up the letter in front of her face and she screeched in excitement. It was a letter from UAU, my dream school. "I wonder if this means Shoto got his today too," I said, while opening the letter, "I bet he got in," I told her, she nodded, peering over my shoulder to see what the paper said.

I pulled it out and excitedly opened it, "AHHHHHHHH!" I yelled after a moment of reading it, "WHAT?? WHAT DOES IT SAY?" She asked, I grabbed her hands and starting jumping up and down, "I GOT IN! I GOT IN!" I yelled, she started jumping with me, "YAYY MY BOY! IM SO PROUD OF YOU!" We hugged then I immediately went to my room and grabbed my phone, "SHOTO! Did you get your letter from UAU today?" I asked him, as soon as he answered the call, "oh, yeah I got it a few days ago," he muttered, "WHAT! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!? DID YOU GET IN?!?!?" I asked, almost getting angry, but I was too excited to be mad. "I'm coming over," he said, then hung up the call, "oh-" I put my phone down then ran out to mom, "Shoto's coming, he says he got the letter a few days ago," I told her, "oh okay, I'll make up extra lunch for him, so he can stay for a while," She said then walked back to the kitchen. I grabbed my phone then went outside and sat on the steps to our apartment, to wait for Shoto.

"Hey," he said, I stood up immediately, "hey!" I said smiling then ran down the stairs to him, and jumped in his arms. "I haven't seen you in so long!" I said nuzzling my face into his chest, he chuckled, "we hung out exactly five days and 6 hours ago," he told me, "that long!? I didn't even realize it's been longer than I thought," he hugged me tighter, "how long can I stay?" He asked, "mums making lunch for us, so she's probably expecting you to stay for that, and you can stay the night if you want," He smiled, "I'd like that," I hugged him tighter, "yay, come on, let's go in now," I said attempting to leave his embrace, "no, not yet, just stay here for a bit," I nodded and kept my arms around his shoulders tightly.

"Whatever school we go to, I love you, and I'm going to marry you one day," he muttered into my shoulder, "don't worry, we'll be okay," I reassured him. "Promise?" He asked, I laughed, "I promise, and that's serious," I told him. He pulled out of the hug enough so we were making eye contact, while our arms were still wrapped around each other, "I'm in love with you," he said, then kissed my nose. "I'm in love with you too Shoto." I placed my forehead against his and closed my eyes, I could feel his breath and his hair touching my face, "lunch's ready- oh I'm sorry, am I interrupting something?" we pulled away from each other and looked up the steps and saw my mom standing in her apron, "no you're good," I leaned into Shoto and we walked up the steps and into the house.

"So, I must know, did you get in?" I asked Shoto, smiling, "tell me if you did first," he replied, I smiled wider and grabbed the letter, then handed it to him. He read it, then smiled softly, "good, I assume you'll want a job, so I looked and found a manga store that's hiring, and that sounded like something you'd really enjoy. I already went in for an interview at a cat cafe nearby UAU campus, I find out in a few days if I got the job, although I'm confident I did. I have more than enough money that I've saved up all my life from my father trying to buy my love, that I can pay off all my tuition without debt, so I'll take care of groceries, and home decor. I'll also pay a larger portion of rent on our apartment than you, that way you can focus more on tuition. Plus I got a large scholarship to the school so that added to in-state tuition is extremely cheap for me." I gasped, "you got in!?!?" he nodded, "I assumed that was obvious," he said blankly, I laughed then gave him a huge hug.

This was it, my life was officially perfect, and even though i'll go through struggles in the future, I had Shoto by my side. I'll wake up every day to his smile, and know that it'll all be okay. I'm going to my dream school with my dream boy. After we power through high school we'll get married and be a family, and have a cat named Barry.
