Midoriya's POV:

That night none of us could get to bed, after Shoto fell asleep, Kirishima, Kacchan, and I all stayed up to talk. "Hey, are you doing okay?" Kirishima asked, we were talking quietly in the bathroom so Shoto wouldn't wake up. "I'll be okay, it's not me we should worry about-" Kacchan scoffed, "shut up, you know your relationship is at risk here right?!? If this doesn't work out you'll likely lose the fucking love of your life!" Kacchan said getting louder, "Hey that isn't helping Bakugo!" Kirishima snapped, Kacchan rolled his eyes and looked down at the floor. "I'm telling you what needs to be said, don't get your hopes up about this because if you're disappointed it will crush you harder then anything!" Kacchan replies, Kirishima sighed and looked over at me, "he's right you know, you have to realize the reality of this, I know you can get caught up in succeeding sometimes." Kirishima said and placed a hand on my shoulder to comfort me. "Yeah I know, all I can do is be there for him..." I said sadly, "wait- maybe you're wrong, maybe we can do something about this, hear me out, it's a brutal plan and you won't like it...but, it just might be what we need," Kirishima told us hesitantly, "a plan is better than nothing right?" I responded he nodded, "what if...what if we planted a camera, we went back to Sapporo and put a camera in one of the hotel rooms, then invited Enji over, to see how he would react, that way we have evidence, there's no way we could lose this right?"

I shot my head towards Kirishima, "Are you serious! We can't put him in a dangerous situation like that! That's insane!" I told them, "no, Izuku, I'll do it," we all immediately looked up towards the door, to see Shoto standing in the doorway, "Shoto? What are you doing up?" I asked, "I heard your banter and got up to see what it was about," I took a deep breath. He said he'll do it, but it doesn't sit right with me to put him in a situation like that, "Hey, let's keep a lookout from the hallway, we'll be watching from a screen, if he tries anything serious then we'll step in and stop him," Kirishima suggested, "yeah, let him hit me once, I can take it, trust me, we need proof of him physically hurting me for this to work." Shoto said sternly sitting down on the cold bathroom floor next to me. "You guys are insane! We can't do that, I can't sit out in the hallway while I watch you get hurt like that," I looked up towards Shoto, he looked like he was thinking hard about something. "Deku, you need to calm down, he said he can take it and he'll do it, and if we're outside keeping eye on them nothing bad could happen," Kacchan added, the other guys nodded. "I don't know," I said again, "we're doing it, babe, we have to. Otherwise, who knows what chance I'll have," Shoto explained grabbing hold of my hand. "I don't feel right about this, but in the end, it isn't up to me is it?" I asked, their eyes opened wider, then they looked down at their laps. "As I said, we're doing it," Shoto added, I shuddered at his sternness, it strangely turned me on, but I pushed that down knowing we wouldn't have time to focus on us until we get home after summer.

~Time skip to the next morning~

I was walking with Shoto, holding his hand as I leaned on his shoulder, we were going down to eat breakfast with the rest of the class, when we saw a large crowd in the lobby staring up at us, we were surrounded by police officers and other adults in suits, all strangers. Shoto quickly let go of my hand and stepped stumbled back, I followed his gaze to an intimidating man with red hair and evil eyes, I knew right away that he was Shoto's father. Shoto's breath sped up and hatred grew inside of me as I clenched my fists and held a defensive stance. "Midoriya, take a breath," Aizawa said sternly, we both looked over to see the whole class was already gone with Yamada and Kirishima and Bakugo stood with Aizawa next to some of the strangers in the room. I stepped closer to Shoto to try and calm him down, also to calm myself down, all he needed was someone there for him right now. Enji glared at us when I took hold of his hand again, but Shoto held his ground and slowly lifted his chin, I refused to let him defeat Shoto this early. "Shoto, Bakugo, and Kirishima requested to stay with you, is that alright with you, if not I can send them out the bus still hasn't left yet," Aizawa asked. "No, they can stay," He replied, they both nodded and looked over to read his expression. "Izuku Midoriya, that's you, right? Can we ask you a few questions?" I nervously nodded, and slowly let go of Shoto's hand, looking back at him as I gave it one last firm squeeze before following two men outside.
