Ray's POV

Jayla's right, you know. If I was really being a good cousin, I'd have stopped him from hurting her.

You see how he ain't no where to be found tho, right??

He think he slick.

I was wearing a black tee with a pull-over black hoodie that had purple and green words on it. I also had on some black skinnys.

I walked down the stairs, and towards the door. I pulled on my black Timbs and grabbed my jacket from the closet.

I pulled my keys out of my picket as I walked put of the door, closing it behind me. Time to get answers, now.

**

Okay, I'll just walk over there and ask him. It shouldn't be so hard, right?

I sat there alone, in a hard chair drinking water from a bottle. We hard just finished rehearsal, and we sitting around in the room.

Why am I acting like a little b*tch?

I forcefully stood up, and the other guys looked up from their phones and conversations.

I walked closer to Roc, and stood about 15 feet away from him. I opened my mouth to speak, and was suddenly cut off by the creak of the door opening.

We all looked over, and Bre walked in with Nique and Bahja behind her. (OMG Girlz)

"Yea, that's exactly what he said," Nique smiled, and the other girls laughed. "That n!gga irks me so much... ugh!"

She's so beautiful; with her curvy a** body and her beautiful voice. Her pretty a** smile and...

What am I talking about? We're through for good.

Bre shook her head smiling, then turned to Roc. she stepped in front of him as he placed his hands on her waist.

She whispered something in his ear, and they both walked out of the room.

After these hos leave, maybe I'll try again.

I looked over at the guys, who had joined in a conversation with the other two crayons.

I sat back in my seat, and guzzled the last bit of my water. Then, I felt eyes on me. I looked up, and found Nique's eyes glued to me.

She had a smirk plastered on her mouth.

Tf she lookin' at?

She thinks she low; trynna make me jealous with that Zoey n!gga. B*tch, yheet.

I got a bæ.

I soon got an incoming phone call. Speaking of which...

"Surrounded by bad b*tches,

I cant get 'em out my face.

Is it 'cause a n*gga handsome and wealthy?

Is it 'cause a n*gga cut like a professor?

Ion know how you feel can you tell me?

I wont know how you feel 'til you tell me.

Is it 'cause a n*gga handsome and wealthy-"

"Hey, Nikki." I answered after I stepped into the hallway.

"Hey," She said back cheerfully. "How was rehearsal?"

"I'll tell you later," I sighed.

"Well, you wanna go somewhere tonight to get your mind off of it?" She asked. "My treat."

I laughed, because this girl know I would never let her pay for me.

Then, I heard low whispers.

I crept closer. The voices led me to the end of the hallway, and an intersection. It was all empty in the building. I peeked around the corner, and found Bre and Roc talking to each other, facing the wall.

"It's almost in place," She said, rolling her eyes at him. "Just a few more days, and we'll be ready for him."

"What about the girl?' I suddenly hear an unfamiliar voice coming from the two of them. So, they weren't talking to each other.

"Who, Jayla?" Roc asked, disgusted.

I felt my body tense up at the sound of her name.

Roc continued. "We wont need her anymore. But, at that time, she'll have known too much to stay alive."

Oh hell, no. I started to go back to the room, knowing I can't take them on alone.

I suddenly walked face-first into a frying pan-like surface.

I fell to the ground, and felt a great force dragging me towards Roc, Bre, and the stranger.

I was slipping in and out of consciousness, and this is what I heard. "So, we have a... Ray? ...Say goodbye to... You're dead."

In my last stroke of consciousness, I looked over at Roc, who was looking at me sadly. Probably wishing that it hadn't been his homie.

But, in his face, you could also tell that he was thinking: Wrong place wrong time, my n!gga.
