"Sonny, please listen to me," I pleaded as we returned to our cell. "I'm not gay!"
"I know that," He said, and didn't say anything else.
"Oh," I answered, surprised. "Then, why are you mad?"
"I'm na' mad-I'm disappointed." He sighed.
"I don't understand."
He got up off of the bed, and walked towards me. He grabbed my hands in his, and looked into my eyes.
"I gotta tell ya' somethin'," he bit his lip.
"Okay..." I said, waiting.
"You know tha' boss, right?" He asked, and I nodded. "Well, he's..."
"He's what?"
He sighed again, "He's ma' uncle."
Roc
"So, where are they being held?" I asked, walking around the plantation.
"In that thur buildin' o'er yonder," Missy said, with her country Southern accent seeping through. "The silver one."
"Oh," I nodded, making a mental note to check it out tonight. "So where are we meeting the boss?"
"At tha' saloon fir lunch," she smiled.
"What is this about you all and the wild west?" I laughed.
Missy shrugged. "Just an obsession o' his."

"So, have you and Breaunna been doing your jobs?"
"Yes sir," I said, nodding. "Our time with the suspect was brief. We also have Whitehall in custody."
He nodded, wiping his mouth after swallowing his last bite. "Is she with the others?"
"Yes, of course."
"So, our spy knows the mission?" The boss asked, siping his white wine.
"Every detail," Breaunna nodded. I'd forgotten she was there; she was so quiet.
"Good," The boss swallowed another bite of his steak. "So, what have you learned about the piece's whereabouts?"
"Not much," I admitted, and he tensed up with anger.
"But, we're really close," Breaunna reassured him. "The spy already is finding that out."
"Good," he said, walking across the office and looking at his panel full of security camera footage.
We were watching Jayla's worktable, where she sat with the others. I haven't seen her in so long. I hope she's okay. No visible bruises, but that doesn't mean anything.
"So, which one is the spy?" The boss asked the three of us, and his security guard shifted in his stance.
"Who do you think?" Missy smirked, stroking her husband's arm. "You're their teacher."
He grinned mischievously. "Then, this could work."
Not if I can help it. I hope Ray and them figure out my clue- soon.

"The desert store?!" Ray paced back in forth in front of the rest of us. "What the f*ck does that mean?"
"Calm down, bro," Prince said, but his face showed that he wasn't following that advice.
"How can I calm down?" Ray yelled back. "My cousin has been kidnapped, and Roc knows where she is. They're both in trouble, and the only clue we have is the desert store! What am I supposed to do with that?!"
"Wait a minute," Brittany said, talking for the first time in the longest. "Did he say the desert store, or the deserted store?"
"What's the difference?" Michelle asked. "We still don't know anything."
That's when I came to a sudden realization.
"No, she's right," I stood up. "If he said the deserted store, he could be talking about that old Costco on Mt. Chestnut."
"The super-center?" Prince asked. "I don't know..."
"Yea, think about it," I said, getting excited. "We used to always say it was haunted because of how big it was. If that is the place he was talking about, there's more than enough room for a kidnapping and evil lair."
"Come on, then!" Ray said, grabbing his car keys.
"Maybe we should call the police," Michelle shook her head.
"No!" Ray yelled. "If this n*gga hears police sirens he might just kill them. I can't lose her, I'm the only one she has."
We all stayed silent, just nodded and left.
"Way to go, Red," Brittany smirked, saying Jayla's nickname for me.
"You too, beautiful," I said, winking.
She gasped, and I got in the car next to Princeton.
Jayla
"Your uncle?!" I asked, exclaiming. "Then, why are you here?"
"Didn't do wha' he asked me ta'," Sonny lowered his head. "And he snapped on me."
I was quiet for a moment, taking it all in. So, why has been here for so long? Family would no doubt forgive each other, unless he really is that bad of a person.
"What did he ask you to do?" I asked him, barely above a whisper.
He didn't say anything, just stared at the floor.
"Bae, answer me," I begged.
The door creaked open, and the head worker walked in.
"Whitehall!" he growled. "The boss has something for you to see."
"Oh-ok," I said, pulling on my shoes. I stood up to leave, looking over at Sonny to see if he'd speak.
Nothing.
So I walked towards the door, and he jumped up. I wheeled around, and we were just inches from each others' face.
"He asked me to kill you," Sonny whispered, then disappeared back into the darkness of our cell.
