It was hard for Phred without his wife, he didn't know how to take care of a child himself. But he did have his friends who knew how to take care of children. He was afraid to ask for help, even though he knew his friends would love to help..

he just didnt know what to do.. he didnt want to lose his own daughter after he lost his wife. but he knew he had to take care of her, so thats what he did, he would have smiley watch her while he was at work. He was glad to have friends that would be there for him. Even though rachel didnt have a mother, she always had mother figures to be there for her if she ever needed something girl related. Phred would do ANY thing to keep his daughter safe, she barley had any friends, only two of them, they where very close to her, micheal and sam. the three of them where very close, rachel was the same age as micheal, but still younger by a month. "Daddy...? Where's mommy" Rachel asked phred, he never knew how to answer this question, "mommy um" phred paused "mommy..." phred sighed, looking at his daughter who was still waiting for a anwser "mommy isn't here" phred said, "well, where is she?" Rachel asked. "At a wonderful place called um..." phred said.

Phred sighed "she's at a place called heaven" phred said. Rachel looked confused "where's that..?" she asked. phred sighed "somewhere..." he said. "can we go see her?" rachel asked. "no sweetie..." phred said. trying not to cry in front of his daughter "oh...ok daddy" rachel said. "how about you go play" phred said. rachel nodded "ok!" she said. she walked off to go play in her room. phred sighed and sat on the floor "what am i doing..? shes only a young kid..she doesnt understand shit" phred said to himself. he sighed "what am i going to tell her" he said, he heard a knock at the front door as he stood up and walked to it "coming.." he said and opened the door, he saw nikkis mother and father at the door. Nikkis mother, Katelyn looked at phred "son, how have you been feeling" she asked him. phred paused "i...." he said. He sighed "I been trying my best to keep Rachel from noticing something is wrong" phred said "everything will get better" nikkis father told him
