phred looked at nikki "but what about what the doctor said?" he asked, "screw what the doctor said!" nikki said. phred nodded "alright.." he said. "now if you excuse me, i need to tell the girls" nikki said as she ran off "nikki wait" phred said and sighed. "damn..." he said, looking down at the test

nikki told the girls to meet her at the cafe down the road, she was excited to tell the girls the news, she walked into the cafe and saw zoey and smiley at a table waiting for her, "nikki! over here" zoey said, waving. nikki walked over and sat with them. "hey girls" nikki said. "so what do you wanna tell us?" smiley asked. "girls..im pregnant" nikki said, the girls where shocked "you joking?!" zoey asked, nikki shook her head "no! im not!" she said, smiley smiled "nikki congrats!" she said and hugged nikki, "what was phreds reaction?" zoey asked. "he was happy...but also worried...the doctor said either me, the baby or both may pass" nikki said. "nikki..that...thats horrible" zoey said, "its...its fine dont worry' nikki said. smiley almost stood up "no it isnt!" she said, with a worried look on her face. "the child either loses their mother, or you lose your child, none of those are good.." smiley said. "oh calm down smiley, im sure the doctor lied" nikki said. "...probably" zoey said. "but nikki please be careful" zoey said again, nikki nodded "dont worry about me, i have phred to help me" she said, the girls just hung out and did things girls would do

sadly little did they know, that would be the last they would be able to have that much fun

at some point, phred and nikki found out they where having a daughter, nikki was thinking between the name daisy(her grandmothers middle name) or rachel, the two chose rachel, they couldn't wait for the child to come, they got everything they needed for the child. they where very impatient to see the child, but still worried because of what the doctor told them

phreds pov)

it came quicker then i thought, nikki went into labor, i told the others so they knew what was going on, i wasn't able to go inside the room so i stayed out of the room, trying not to panic so much but i guess i kept calm, sooner or later the room door opened and the doctor came out "you can come in now" he said. i stood up and walked in, i saw nikki holding the baby, rapped in a hosptial blanket, i smiled and nearly cried, nikki was crying "w-we both lived" she said. i nodded, i heard some sort of beeping and it got faster, "nikki you-" i got cut off as a doctor was shoving me out of the room "w-wait whats going on.." i said. no one said anything as i was outside of the room, i began crying as i got worried. what the fuck is going on?!

i quickly pulled out my phone and texted the group chat, i was shaking as i was texting, i needed someone to tell me nikki and the child was okay, i needed to know i will be able to go home with the both of them.

i looked up seeing the door open

"phred whisler?" 

"yes,,,,?"

"we have some bad news...about your wife"
