Chapter Twenty Nine
You know what hurts? When Taeyong had hopes for a second, that Jaehyun would comeback to him cause that's the purpose of the kiss.
However, it's a no.
The kiss and his presence- that's just for fulfilling his promise. That even though they won't be on stage together, Jaehyun would be part of the crowd who'll be the most proud.
And he felt how proud Jaehyun is through the kiss.
It's been seven months since then, it's the last hope Taeyong was holding on. But as time goes by, the hope is slowly disappearing in the dark.
Which was okay, it's always been okay.
Cause he got no choice, he was never given a choice in the first place. He just have to go with it, as fucking always.
"We're here," the driver uttered, pulling Taeyong back to reality. He looked at the window and his forehead creased, "Why in front of the building and not at the parking lot?"
"Hyung, we need exposure. Fansites had been waiting since last night," Chenle said with two phones on his hand.
"There's no even important schedule, we're just going to have a daily practice- for our comeback." Mark, who's at the back, rolled his eyes. "Exposure, Mark, exposure!" Haechan also rolled his eyes.
"We could post on our own, duh." Chenle argued, "You only posts once in a blue moon. And who knows? Company wants to create a new article for us." Haechan just shrugged.
Taeyong looked at the other van in front of them. Taeil, Yangyang, and Sungchan went out from there and immediately went inside the building.
"Prepare," Taeyong sighed. They also went out of the van and straightly followed the first three members.
"Geez, flash can still be seen even in broad daylight." Yangyang whined, he's about to whine again but he saw someone familiar entered the elevator.
He gulped before running towards Taeyong, "Hyung! I just saw your mom!" He cried- with no tears. He's just scared of the lady.
Taeyong frowned when he heard it. His mom, again. Of course there's always a reason why he woke up grumpily this morning. Geez.
Yangyang's words were confirmed when they all went to their dance practice room but Taeyong was excused. He's called to the CEO's office.
As soon as he opened the door, his mother stood up. "Here he is, let me borrow him- it won't take long." She slightly smiled.
Taeyong didn't had the chance to atleast bow at the boss when his mom pulled him immediately. They were quiet at the elevator, he knows they'll just talk at the car- it's not like she'll really bring him somewhere.
"Get out," the lady ordered the driver. Taeyong went inside first while sighing. "Is there a problem?" He asked as soon as his mom closed the door.
"Your dad and I had a divorce."
Divorce. Should Taeyong be shock?
"Which name do you want to hold?"
Okay, that's the sentence that made him shock.. and mad. He's literally asked who he wants to be with, it's a cruel question- but why did she ask as if it's easy?
