Chapter Thirty

"Err. This is tiring as heck, but I enjoyed it." Ten shrugs as he left the recording studio with Jaehyun, "So do I."

They quietly rode the elevator, tiredness can be seen through their eyes but it's fine- they'll get to rest as soon as they arrive the dorms.

Ten and Jaehyun started training at SBS as soon as they graduated last April, while Lucas and Johnny went to KBS. It's been only seven months but Jaehyun and Ten's debut are already ready next month, January.

And yes, the two will debut with Doyoung and Yuta. There are three more trainees and they all live in one dorm.

Jaehyun and Ten got escorted by a company van to send them home, Ten falls asleep as soon as he got back to his room. Jaehyun should be too, but his mind is too preoccupied.

He's still thinking about his promise to Taeyong last year- that they'll get back to each other.

Of course, Jaehyun is still in love with him. It's been so long but his feelings remain the same, for the past few months they weren't together- all his focus were on training and nothing more else.

However, does Taeyong still feels the same?

He trusts him, but why is he doubting now? All he wanted was the best for both of them, but why does it feel like he made the wrong decision?

Why does it feel like it's wrong to get him back? Now that CHA1N is so successful?

It's been seven months since CHA1N debuted, and they were really a big hit in the industry. Jaehyun didn't feel any jealousy, he's actually beyond proud- just like Doyoung to Taeil.

NECTAR, their group's name, has been announced to the public already. And they're also getting attention.

An old student of APA released a scandal about Yuta- bullying. But the other students defended that Yuta already apologized and changed. Bad reputation real quick?

Doesn't matter, majority gave him a chance.

He sighed. He's about to close his eyes and force himself to sleep when someone barged into his room and bounced on his bed, "Hyung!"

It's Jisung, the youngest of their group.

"Have you seen this? Have you?" He excitedly showed his tablet, Jaehyun smiled a little when he saw it's Taeyong's fancam.

Jisung is a huge fan of Taeyong, and the kid doesn't know that his hyung is his idol's ex.

Jaehyun smiled bitterly, he remembered when Taeyong used to tell him about Jisung. The kid was the one who gave him a chocolate on their first day of school 2 years ago.

Jaehyun rolled his eyes jokingly, "Stop fanboying over him," he scolded. Jisung acted as if he didn't hear anything, "He's really cool! I wanna debut quick and collab with him!"

Jisung continued watching the fancam while Jaehyun's secretly trying to watch too,

"CHA1N's having a comeback next month? Same day as our debut date? Out of 31 numbers on January, they chose 21?!"

It was Jeno's voice from the living room. If Jisung is a fanboy, then Jeno is a hater- not that much. He just sees them as a rival.

Jisung, with heavy steps, went out of the room and much ready to fight. Jaehyun thought he could finally sleep but Yuta entered and pulled him to sit.

"Bro, help!" He's like crying, but he's not. "Sicheng is too cute, how the heck am I supposed to—" he couldn't bare to finish his sentence and buried his face in his palm.
