Tony pov:
So today was my birthday! Finally thirteen.
I walked downstairs and got ready for school. My dad was already on his way to the Avengers building... Some business he had to take care of.
Any other kid would've probably thought that he'd make a suprise. I knew that my dad wouldn't.
I didn't mean it like that just... He had other things to do... I wouldn't even been suprised if he'd forgotten after everything that has happend the past two days...

So yea, things started off great that morning, yea that was sarcastically.
"Hey Toddler Parker! I hope your dad can make it trough on the worst day of his life, your birth." Ashley said and I sighed.
She laughed with her stupid friends and I walked to class.

"Alright students, today we got a new classmember." the teacher said and Grace walked in.
I looked at her and she smiled a little.
"Hello everyone, I'm Grace."
"Little rude to say that about yourself." Ashey said and she gave her little best friend a high fve.
"There's a free spot next to Tony." the teacher said and Grace said down next to me.
"Is that girl always like that?" Grace whispered.
"You'll get used to it." I muttered.

So yea Grace and I hung out during recess.
"Oh I almost forgot." she said and she handed me a small Total messed up packed thing.
"What is it?"
"A little birthday gift. I'm a mess at packing things... sorry."
"It's fine. I'm already suprised that you remembered."
"Well, open it."
And I did.
"I hope you like it..." Grace said.
"A small Stone from Titan?"
"Wow, you figured that out quite fast..."
"The planet where my mother lived... Since she was born on earth but Titan was her home planet."
"Also Thanos' though..."
"True. But thanks. This means a lot to me."
"It's fine. Oh, Happy birthday. I can't believe I almost forgot to say that."
We grinned and the warning bell rang so we needed to get back to class.

Ashley looked at Grace.
"Hey new girl, you don't wanna be seen with that loser. Come with us, that would be in your advance."
Grace looked at me and then at Ashley.
"I'll manage."
Ouch...
"You'll manage once you drop some dead weight." Ashley said and she pushed me aside, I fell and she looked at Grace.
"See? He can't even win from a girl."
"Girls are powerfull. Look at Black Widow, Inferno, Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel and most important of them all. My mother, Gamora. Part of Guardians of the galaxy just like Mantis. Not only guys are the heroes. Girls are proven heroes too. So mabey you should mind your own damn business!" Grace said and Ashley seemed a bit shocked.
Grace turned to me.
"You okay?"
"I'm fine..." I muttered while I got up and I went to class with Grace.

Ashley really hated Grace, that was obvious.
The way Grace burned Ashley reminded me how my mother burned Ashley's dad once, at least what I was told by my dad... Because I wasn't there after all...
Although it would've been great to watch how my mom burned Ashley's dad.
I can't believe that I became a loser like my dad... I guess that's what it meant to be a child of two heroes and not having any powers on your own.
I sighed and Grace looked at me.
"Are you okay?"
"Yea... Just thinking about my mom..."
"Her funeral is tomorrow, right?"
"Yea... My dad didn't want it on my birthday... Otherwise it would've been today."
"That would've been really terrible."
"I suppose."
Grace looked at me.
"Your dad invited all the other avengers too... My parents and I are there too. I'll be there for you if you need me."
"Thanks..."
She smiled softly and I was hoping for my birthday to be over soon.

So yea, Grace and I were both asked to come to the Avengers building, so we took a taxi. We weren't gonna walk Upstate from Queens... That would've been way to far.
Grace looked at me.
"This is going to be fun."
"What do you mean?"
"Your dad's definitly planned something for your birthday."
"Nah, he's always too busy for stuff like that. My mom always prepared stuff like that."

We arrived at the Avengers building and I was right.
Nothing special...
Grace looked at me.
"Sorry that I gave you false hope."
"It's fine. A little part of me had that same false hope the whole day."
My dad was really busy with some stuff for a new suit of his. It was an upgrade for his iron spidey suit.
Old captain America looked at my dad.
"Hey Queens, your son's here too y'know."
"Yea, yea..." my dad said, Total sucked up in his work.
I sighed and the others noticed what was going on.
"You forgot again, didn't you? Like mom always needed to remind you?" I asked and my dad looked up.
"Crap..."
"I knew it. And I'm not suprised either."
Grace followed me outside and my dad sighed.

"Are you okay?" Grace asked.
"Sure... He forgets every year... I'm trying to let it go because I know that he'll never remember."
"But he should. Even my dad knows when it's my birthday and he even pays attention to it."
"Then Mabey you got the better dad." I said a little anoyed.
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean it like that..."
"It's fine... I already figured out that my dad and I won't be able to live without my mom..."
"Don't say that... You'll figure it out. I mean you're really smart and you know a lot about the avengers."
"But that was stuff I found on the internet and what I hacked from the Stark database!"
"You hacked the Stark database?!" a voice behind us sounded and Grace and I turned around.
"No I didn't." I said quickly and my dad looked at me.
"Liar."
"I should probably go..." Grace muttered before she hurried away.
My dad looked at me.
"You really hacked the most secured database in the world?"
"Is that really what you think it's the most important right now?"
"I'm sorry... I just..."
My dad sighed.
"Mabey you were right."
"About what?"
"That I am the worst dad ever..."
I saw that he felt terrible and I sighed.
"No I was wrong... I'm the worst son ever. I should've helped you out and insteadof being all negative about everything I should've been a bit moreunderstanding and all..."
"Tony... Don't say that... You're not."
"We can't handle this without mam, can we?"
"We'll figure it out... It just needs more time..."
"You're probably right about that..."
"I'm sorry that I forgot your birthday again..."
"It's okay... With everything that has happend the past two days... I can't blame you."
"Come here."
and my dad hugged me.
