Tony pov:
I was able to make the leg look like it was real, not a mechanical leg. I also made a holomask to cover up the burnwounds.
It just looked like nothing even happend, to me.
Grace seemed a bit confused when she saw me walking to her at school.
"Your leg- What- How did you...?"
"Hello to you too."
"What did you do?"
"I'll explain it later okay? We should probably go to class."
She nodded, still with a bit confussion in her eyes and we went to class.

"I told you he'd be back at school. There are some bugs who need more then one hit to get squeezed."
I sighed.
"Here we go again..." I muttered.
"Leave him alone Ashley." Grace said.
"Look he got himself a little girlfriend. How disgusting. His mom would turn herself in her grave."
Okay, I usually took everything, everything Ashley said but this time, oh this time she went way too far.
I stood up.
"Shut up about my mother."
"Oh he got mad." Ashley said and one of her little friends took her arm.
"Mabey you should stop."
"Why? He's a weak little scumbag who's embarrassing his parents, the one who's alive and the dead one."
"Ashley!"
I looked at Ashley and got pretty pissed, Grace noticed and she looked at me.
"Tony, ignore her..."
I looked at Ashley.
"Shut up about my mother."
"Or else what? I'm just stating the facts."
"My mom was Inerno, one of the best yet mightiest heroes of her age. She did evrything for evryone and she was the only one who had faith in my and didn't forgot about me. She was never embarrased of me, but my dad is. But you have to shut up about my mother."
"How do you know if your mom wasn't lying huh?"
And that was the last thing she said because I was about to punch her but something stopped me.
Grace looked at me.
"I can't let you do something which you'll regret later Tony. You're not a bad person..."
Okay so she had powers and basically controlled me.

Later that day the two of us sat outside and I looked at her.
"Your parents don't have powers, how come you have?"
"A little accident in the lab once."
She looked at me and smirked.
"But you owe me to tell how you got that."
I turned the hologram of the leg and Grace could see that it was a mechanical leg.
"You build that thing?"
"Yea, fully made with the tech of mr. Stark and Shuri."
"That's so cool and genius."
"Thanks but that's not all..."
And I turned off my holomask.
"When did that happen?"
"I was working on my leg when my dad might've scared me a little and a very tiny explosion happend."
"Gods, are you okay?"
"Yea, some stolen- ehhh borrowed equipment of mr. Stark did most of the job."
"You stole equipment of Tony Stark?"
"Not directly... But Mabey."
"But that't wrong!"
"Like your dad never stole stuff to fix things."
"Oh really mature."
"You asked for it."
"You know my dad acctually talked to me after what happend to you."
"Really, what did he say?"
"He asked if I'd do the same and I said yes. Because he'd still be my dad after all."
"What did he say?"
"He said he'd never forgive himself if I'd do something like that."
"He always cared for you, Grace. Even if he doesn't show it."
"Says the guy who's father forgot his birthday."
"You just had to bring that up didn't you?"
"Your mom would be proud to see what you accomplished. The leg, the hacking and the holomask. You did it all."
"What has that to do with it?"
"I'm not afraid to be myself. No matter what my parents or anyone else think."
"Where is this going?"
She looked at me and took the little chip I attached to my neck of the holomask.
"I think you don't need this."
"But-"
"Don't be afraid to show yourself. You stood up to Ashley for the first time ever. You turned your weakness, the death of your mother into power... and violence."
"Yea I should've probably not done that."
"Probably not. But I stopped you, so you have nothing to regret."
"Why didn't you tell me about your powers?"
"It just didn't came up."
Grace looked at me.
"I don't want to have secrets for you."
"I don't want to keep secrets from you either."
"Truce?"
"What about friends?"
"Even better."
She gave me the holomask back.
"I still think that you don't need it."
"Mabey someday... But I prefer to use it for now..."
"Okay then. But promise me that you'll be yourself more often, okay?"
"I promise."
She hugged me and I was so shocked by that, that I'd almost forgot to hug her back.

So yea my dad acctually paid attention to me when I got home, sort of... He didn't look up of his work.
"How was your first day at school with that thing?"
"Good..."
He looked up.
"Why are you smiling so much?"
"I think I'm in love with Grace."
He spit out his... whatever kind of drink he had and looked at me.
"Quill's daughter?"
"Yea..."
"You're joking, right?"
"What, why?"
"Long story..."
"Did something happen at work today or something?"
"Grace has powers thanks to-"
"An accident in the lab. I know."
"Right, you know everything about stuff like that."
"No, she told me... A few hours ago."
"Oh. She can't control her powers Tony, you need to watch out."
"She stopped me from punching Ashley."
"You wanted to beat a girl, really?"
"She said that mom would turn in her Grave because of me. I got angry!"
"Look, rethink about Grace and learn how to channel your anger. Okay?"
"There's nothing to rethink about Grace. I really like her."
My dad looked at me.
"Then I won't stop you. But I can't promise that Quill won't."
"I know dad, thanks."
My mechanical legg started buzzing and I gritted my teeth.
"I think I over used it. I'd better turn it off."
"You can't take it off, can you?"
"Nope... But it's water proof!" I said quickly and my dad grinned.
