Tom's POV:

It was another normal day, a few days after we rebuilt the house, after that basstard Tord destroyed it. I felt like getting a drink so I got up from my bed putting my phone down onto the side table next to my bed, after scrolling through it. I picked up my blue hoodie I threw on the floor from last night. Smelt it to make sure it was clean enough it didn't smell that bad so I could wear it for another day. Then I grabbed my phone and wallet.

I put my phone into my hoodie pocket and before putting my wallet into my pocket I checked to see if I had any money left. Shit, I guess I'll have to ask Edd for some money, hopefully he will give me some. I walked out of the kitchen to see Edd sketching in his sketchbook sitting one a stool chair next to the counter with a cola next to him.

"Hey Edd." I said a bit awkwardly walking up to him on the other side of the counter, "wow, uh great drawing you got there."

Edd looked up disappointed in my bargaining with complements, "I know what your doing Tom, I'm not that dum."

"Whaaat, what are you talking about I'm just- ugh nevermind I can't keep this up without a drink." I went back to my normal tired voice.

"I'm not going to give you any more money and you said you're going to try and stop drinking Tom." Edd slammed his sketchbook in annoyance.

"Edd come on please, see I even said please." Edd then took his sketchbook and cola, and walked away. I caught up with him, "Edd please, after this I'll go and get a job."

Edd turned back to me, "and stop drinking."

"And I'll." I paused, "'try' and stop drinking."

"Ugh, fine. That's the best I'm gonna get from you I guess. But this is the last time I'm paying for your alcohol addiction." He then went over and put his stuff down on a nearby table and went to go grab his wallet and keys. He pulled out a twenty dollar bill and the keys to his car but before handing it to Tom he said. "Matt's going with you."

"What why!" I wined while trying to grab the money and keys.

"Because you need someone to watch you and drive you back home, and I have a actual job, so you're going to take Matt with you or you're not going at all."

"Ugh fine." I crossed my arms and Edd handed me the money. "Hey what about the keys?"

"Matt will drive."

I finally agreed but only so I could get my booze. I shoved the money into my pocket and went out to the car. As I was waiting for Matt I looked up at the sky to see it getting dark. God why does he have to take so long, as I finished that thought he finally walked out of the house and to the driver's seat of the car.

"Took you long enough." I growled as I slipped into the other side of the car next to Matt.

"Well I had to make sure I looked good before going out." He said, grabbing the mirror on the roof of the car to amior himself.

"If you're going to be driving you can't look at yourself in the mirror," I slapped his hand away. "It would probably be better if I drive even when I'm drunk. I'd pay better attention to the road and not my own reflection."

"Hmpf, well Edd told me to drive, so sit down and be quiet." He said, pulling out of the driveway.

As we drove around town on our way to the pub I saw it getting darker and the street lights started to turn on. I sat back facing the front window. I was about to talk but then I saw the lights of the pub, finally we made it.

"Alright we're here-" Matt said but I already made it out of the car. "Hey! Wait up!" Matt shouted, I turned around to see him stumbling out of the car. I laughed a bit at his clumsiness. "Hey why are you laughing!" He finally got out of the car and up to me.

"Eh, it just looks like you're already drunk before me." I laughed a bit more but it soon faded away but leaving a smirk.

"I'm not getting drunk, you know I'm your ride back home."

"Yeah, yeah whatever." I walk on over and into the pub.

Matt's POV:

I liked it when Tom was happy, it didn't really matter that much that he was poking fun at me. Well I guess it made me feel bad sometimes but at least he was happy. As I followed him into the pub I knew that happiness was soon to fade. Tom sat down on a stool at the counter and I followed. The bartender greeted Tom like a regular and asked who I was.

"Oh he's one of my roommates Matt you know him." Tom told him my name like he talk about me before to the bartender.

"Oh yeah him," then he went over to me. "Would you like anything." His voice was a bit scruffy and he looked like a topical lumberjack, he was cleaning a cup with a square white rag as he stood there for an answer.

"Oh he doesn't drink, but I'll have the regular." Tom said for me.

"Um actually I'll have a Uh, I'll just have a water." I said awkwardly. The bartender got our drinks and went off to take orders and let us talk.  "So... how's your drink?"

"It's good as usual, just glad I got to get a drink." Tom took another sip of his Smirnoff.

I looked around the pub to see many different people. Some looked like they were in gangs and somewhere like Tom just here for a drink. It made me worried for Tom. He came here a lot and sometimes had to walk home, alone... especially for his size he's small and isn't that strong, mostly when Tord and Tom fought Tord would usually win or would go easy on him.

Tom's POV:

I could see Matt getting worried looking around and barely touching his drink. I sighed, "you want to get going."

Matt looked back over to me, "you sure you don't want to stay any longer, you really wanted to go here."

"Nah it's fine you just look uncomfortable here, and it's getting late anyways." I said putting the money on the counter and grabbing my bottle of smirnoff.

"Alright." Matt followed me back to the car.
