Matt's POV:

As I walked into the kitchen I slid my hand on the cold countertops. I grabbed the handle of the fridge. As I looked around for a coke can, I saw a bottle of smirnoff. I grabbed it and shook it around. There was only a little gone. It must have been put back because Tom wouldn't have drink this little.

I laughed it off, but then remember he still wasn't here.

...

Ring ring.

Tom's POV:

"Sir! Sir!" I cracked my eyes open and groaned as I lift my head up.

"Huh?"

"Where ready to go."

"Go where?"

"To get the gem from the silver army."

"Oh, uh, yeah I'll be right there." I pretend to laugh a bit.

"Ok but hurry up before it's too late." They said and left the room.

"What the fucks going on..." I look around to see I'm still at Tord's place. "Oh yeah... fuck." I looked at the time it was 1:46am. I heaved myself up off the desk and headed to this door I haven't opened. I opened it  slowly and it just led to a bathroom.

I headed in, fixed my hair, threw up, and fixed the clothes.

"Ok I guess I have to do Tord's job for him." I look in the mirror with my hands on the sink, "god his face is gross."

Some time later.
-2:15am

I sat there a bit nervous in the square black truck, but had to make sure they still thought I was Tord. Thank god I brought a flask. I reach for the flask-

"Hey sir."

"Yeah..." I dropped my hand and looked over at them.

"Where almost at the base, get ready." They look back forwards, I did as well. I was kinda getting a little worried.

"Where here, A team goes through the back.  B team you distract the guard's. C team you cut the power. And Jim can you tell the other teams what they'll do."

"Yes Miss! Yes!" Jim saluted.

"Jim, can you keep it down when trying to sneak in." She face palmed. Jim and the rest that were in the van began to pack up and leave. "Hey, Tord." I didn't look up at first but the realized.

"Yeah." I turned to her as sweat dripped down my face.

"Come with me." She headed out and I followed. "I know you not Tord." She lit a cigarette. I stopped in my tracks.

"Wait what! How-"

"Can guys ever just stop yelling all the time." She covered my mouth. "Well the way I know, is your acting very weird." She took her hand away.

"I thought my acting of Tord was perfect." We continue to walk

"You sure, it was as if you weren't even trying."

"Well Matt was here first, so..."

"Wait there was another one?" She stopped and looked back at me.

"Yeah also Edd but he hasn't been here."

"What's your name anyway."

"Tom."

"Wait? You're just letting all this information out to me, someone you don't know."

"Yeah so, I'm not important." I took another sip of my alcohol.

"Have you been drinking?" She started to get angry with me.

"Well I was getting a bit, just a bit, nervous and this helps, also I've already been drinking earlier." I shrugged it off.

"Oh my god."

"How do you even know Tord so well anyways, are you his girlfriend or something."

"No, why do you think that, ugh." She took a breath to calm herself. "Anyways, I'm just his old friend. We used to be partners and worked on amazing projects together, before he became leader."

"Mk. Damn it I'm out." I sighed, shaking the flask to see if there was something. She just looked at me a bit pissed.

"Just following me and don't fuck up." She grabbed me by the arm making me drop my flask.

In the building
Time -2:44am

We were headed down the hallway with no guard in sight.

"Ok, I'm sure it's right down this hallway and around the corner." I agreed and followed her. As we got to the corner she pushed me back so I couldn't get a look.

"What?" I whispered.

"There's guards there, blocking the room that the gem's in." She glanced back over the corner

"How are you sure it's in there?" I asked.

"I've already mapped the place out." She looked over to me.

"And how'd you do that?"

"We had someone come here in disguise to scope out the area." She claimed.

"Wait why couldn't you just have them get it?"

"... shut up, you don't even know how to run an army." She glared at me angrily. "We also need to get some other things here anyways so this would be a better option."

"Uh, ok, whatever you say." I shrugged it off.

"Hey who goes there!" A masculine figure with a flashlight comes out from the dark hallway. We also heard the guards that were protecting the gem seemed to be coming our way.

"Shit." She angrily mumbled. Then she grabbed me by the upper arms and told me, "You're going to go into that room right by us, figure a way to the gem room and make sure no one sees you. You got that."

"Uh, y-yeah." I nervously said.

"Ok, I'm going to stick here and take care of these guards while you get the gem and get out of here. You got that." I nodded.

She then pushed me into the room shutting the door behind me. Okay, okay, I got to act fast.

"Hey you! Come and get me!" I heard her yell. I look around the room, nothing much, just an old storage room or something. I saw a door on the side that must lead to that hallway. I grabbed the handle and pulled but the door wouldn't budge.

I tried again, still nothing.

"Fuck, why won't it open-" I looked down see a lock on it. "Oh..." I turned the lock and headed out.  I looked around and there was no one, just yelling from the other hallway. I dashed to the wooden doors, opening them and walking inside.

"Wow, not very high maintenance." There wasn't much in that room either, just a pillow on a white waist high stand. And on top was the gem; it didn't even have one of those glass protectors. "Wow this was easy-"

BANG

A bat hit against my head. I stumbled back holding my hand to my head.

"What the hell!" I shouted.

"What brings you here." The old man staggered over me. They were holding the bat from the grip and the other side tapped on his other hand. "Are you here to steal the gem." His voice wasn't as rasp as a usual old man, but instead it was more bolder.

"And what are you going to do about it, old man." Then he started to beat me with the bat without letting me get a chance to breathe.

"Ow. Ow. Ow." Shit, I was being a bit too cocky. I looked around with my arms shielding my head. Then I realized I have a robotic arm. I shifted that arm down and tried to move it.

"Ow! You son of a bitch!" He screamed, stumbling back grabbing his foot. It was because of the robotic arm grabbed his ankle and twisting. I slowly stood up.

"Wow, this arm is stronger than I thought." Then I saw the bat that he dropped. "Ha, who's the one with the last laugh now." I held it in my hands. Then I looked up over to see the old man running full speed at me even though he has a broken leg. "Oh shit..."
