Chapter 19 - wake up again

Matt's POV:

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep

I got startled and hopped up from where I was laying. The beeping stopped and I took a look at my surroundings. Ok im in a car. I take another look around. This is Edd's car at our home. I sighed with relief that I didn't end up at Tord's place.

Wait, so if me and Tom were inside and the only other person that was here was Tord's, I'm in Edd's body okay. Wait why was Tord in Edd's car in the first place. I looked around again, the key was in the key hole slightly turned. Was he trying to leave?

I ignored it for now and got myself out of the car. As I took a breath of fresh air it seemed to be colder.

"It's late already?" I looked up at the sky and it was just getting dark. I should head inside before I freeze or if Tom and tord are here so they don't kill each other.

Edd's POV:

I felt the wooden floor on my face. It felt cold but my face felt heated for some reason. I heaved myself up and glanced around. Tom's room I guessed very quickly. Gezz he needs to clean up a bit. I spotted a bit of garbage and dirty clothes scattered around. I look back forwards to see Tom himself or I think it's him.

"Hey Tom?" I tried to wake him up by moving his shoulder. "Tom get up." Ugh enough of this kindly waking up. "Hey Tom get your ass up!" I shook him harder.

"Errg." I heard him grumble. Well that did the trick. I looked away from him. I could maybe help him with cleaning up his room. Yeah, it's not like he's going to do it anytime soon anyway.

I got up and headed for the kitchen to grab myself a garbage bag.

Tord's POV:

Uggggghh, I woke up from my slumber and took in my surroundings. I'm most likely in Tom's room, yep... God damn it. I was so close to leaving this place and getting back to normal. Damn but the army probably wouldn't know or believe that I was me...

"Fuck!"

Alright let's just see who the fuck I am and who else is here with me. I got up from my spot and headed out of the room. As I entered the hallway I could her some shuffling in the kitchen.

"Hello?" I questioned as I slowly got closer to the kitchen. As I turned the corner to see who it was. I just saw Matt struggling to get a garbage bag from under the counter. "You good Matt." I smirked.

"Not Matt, it's Edd." He told me.

"Well how am I supposed to know that?" I claimed.

"Well Tom you ask." Edd had finally got the bag out.

"Well you just called me Tom sooo- wait a minute I'm Tom again aw man."

"Hey Tord? Your Tord right?"

"Yeah. What do you want?" I asked.

"We'll do you want to help clean up Tom's room or we could-"

BANG

We both looked over at the front to see the door swing open.

"Guys, are you awake!?" I heard them say a bit chipper.

"Yeah! And why do you gotta make such an entrance you know your paying for the door Matt!" Edd shouted.

"How do you know it's Matt?" I asked Edd.

"Because Tom wouldn't act like That." Edd claimed.

"You sure?" I questioned him.

"Guys stop lalagaging and tell me who's who's!" He then sat himself down at the counter.

"I'm Edd, the one in Tom's body is Tord and I assume Tom is at Tord's place." Edd explained.

"Ooo talking about Tom, he's going to call me once he wakes up." Matt searched his pocket, "wait where's my phone again?"

"Uh I think it's still in my room." Edd told Matt.

"Got it." Matt then dashed off to his room.

"Why is he so happy now?" I asked.

"How would I know?" Edd then went over to the fridge to grab something. "Hey there's some cola missing who took it?" Edd looked back up at me.

"I don't know." I shrugged, "it surely wasn't me."

"Whatever." Edd said and just took a can out of the fridge. He then cracked it open and took a sip. "So." Edd started to talk up again. "What's this about a army?"

"A army?!?! How do- who told y-" I fumbled over my words.

"Your um worker I think, her name was Rose, yeah Rose, she told me."

"Well I um." Before I could finish Edd took a sigh and walked past me.

"Come on, let's go and do our next plan ok."

"Wait what next plan again." I followed him as we walked to his room. We both stopped at the door for a second.

"We're going to drive up to your place so we can do this whole thing quicker." Edd reminded me.

"Oh yeah. But wait, are you sure we can't just switch a couple more times tell we get it right." I tried to persuade him to this idea instead. He ignored me and opened the door.

Tom's POV:

I slowly opened my eyes. I could see blankets and a blurry wall in the background. I picked myself up and tried rubbing my eyes. Wait why am I only rubbing one eye, I look over to see my whole right arm is gone. Oh...

Where could his robot arm be. I wondered looking around the room.

Couldn't find it...

Oh maybe Rose has it. I went over to the door but before I opened it I remember I was supposed to call Matt. Maybe I should do that first. I then started to look for Tord's phone instead.
