"Renjun?"

The bat's head gave a small nod and Soomin immediately opened the window to allow him in.

As soon as he flew in, he transformed back into his vampire form and collapsed on the ground not even a second later. Soomin took no time to completely go to him.

"Are you okay?" She asked, lifting his head slightly, making him give a weak smile with his deep red eyes. She saw many wounds on his face and arms. His clothes were all ragged and Soomin helped him up, laying him on her bed.

"What the hell happened to you?" She asked with complete worry in her voice.

"Dont bring my home up." He joked a bit, laughing softly only to groan with pain.

"Renjun, what happened?" She asked again in a stern voice and he breathed out a small sigh.

"I ran out of blood at home. I was gonna get some more but seems the night was filled with competition." He said weakly, wincing as he tried to hold himself up but ultimately fell down, back hitting the soft bed.

"I was too weak to get anywhere from the lack of blood in my system so I used the energy I had to get here." He continued. Soomin felt bad for him, not enjoying his state one bit.

"I'll get the first aid kit." She said softly while looking at him and he shook his head.

"There's no use. There's not enough blood in my system to stay in my human form and you can't really heal my vampire form with those things." He groaned out as he clutched onto his stomach, presumably from a wound.

"How can I help?" She asked him.

"I don't wanna say. It was a bad idea coming here anyways. I can barely contain myself right now." He said with a chuckle, struggling to get up only to be lightly held down by Soomin.

"Tell me." She said with a demanding voice, slightly intimidating Renjun since he was fairly weak at that point.

"I- I need blood. Blood runs in your system.." He said, trying his hardest not to look at her.

"I'd have to take some of your blood." He said and Soomin nodded.

"It won't kill me, right?" She asked and Renjun widened his eyes.

"Don't even think about, Bae. As much as I'd appreciate your offer, I can't bring myself to just drain your blood." Renjun said as he attempted to get up which ended up with Soomin holding him down.

"Answer my question, Renjun." She said in a stern voice and used his first name which was odd for her. She always enjoyed calling people by their surnames and only called people by their first names when she was demanding, annoyed, frustrated, mad, etc.

Renjun gulped a bit and nodded his head slightly, still refusing to make eye contact with her.

"I'd just have to be able to control myself." He said and Soomin sat him up.

"Then do it. I trust you."

Those same words played in his head over and over again as he recalled the moment with the angel. The way he had sworn to care for Soomin since she was in a bad state.

"I do trust you."

The words repeated themselves over and over, making Renjun hiss at the sudden head pain. The words that the angel said to him.

"I trust you, Renjun."

He groaned slightly and held his head, making Soomin confused.

"Renjun?" What's wrong?" She asked with concern filling her entire body.
