It was a quiet winter morning when Soomin awoke and her first sight was that of her beautiful boyfriend.

A smile crept on her face as she realized today was a special day for the two; it was their one year anniversary.

Soomin silently crept out of bed and made her way down to the kitchen. She smiled at the fact that her two best friends offered to stay at Jeno's house so the two can spend their one year anniversary inside a warm house since the snow blocked everything off.

She happily went to the cupboard, grabbing two mugs as well as the pancake mix.

She quietly did her best to make Renjun some breakfast, trying to perfect everything for his taste.

She then gathered a small portion of fruits, cutting them and assembling them on a plate. To top off the breakfast, she filled the mugs with a coffee for the two to enjoy.

Satisfied with her creation, she placed their meals on the small portable table and silently made her way back to the room where Renjun thankfully was still sleeping.

She smiled at his sight, taking in the aspects of his beautiful features that she had grown to love with the entirety of her heart. He looked so ethereal and she couldn't believe that she was able to call him hers.

Renjun seemed to feel her gaze as he finally woke up and made eye contact with her and then smelled the delightful aroma of the breakfast she prepared.

"What's all this?" He asked in his morning voice, making butterflies form in her tummy.

"Breakfast, idiot. I made it for us." She said and placed it gently over his lap as he sat up.

She carefully made her way to sit next to him on the bed and gave him a smile.

"Why'd you suddenly decide to make breakfast?" He asked as he shoved a piece of the pancake into his mouth.

Soomin gave him an 'are you serious?' look and he took that as a hint that it should be something he knew.

"Take a guess." She told him as she ate some of the fruit she prepared and Renjun furrowed his eyebrows in thought.

Thats when realization hit him and he immediately placed the fork down before cupping her face and placing a soft kiss on her lips.

"Happy one year anniversary, Bae." He said with a smile which made Soomin grin.

"I'm glad you remembered." She told him and he laughed a bit.

"I just woke up. You should've cut me some slack." He said and she just shrugged with a satisfied smile.

The two continued to eat their breakfast before finally placing down the portable table with their dishes on them and laying down together.

"What do you want to do for this special day?" She asked him as he rubbed his hands up and down her arm in a loving manner.

"I'm not sure. I like staying in bed with you. You got any ideas?" He asked and a small smirk appeared on her face.

"I may have one." She said with a teasing smile and looked up at him with challenging eyes.

"BAE NOT THE ASS!" Renjun yelled as a snowball hit right on his, well ass.

Soomin laughed hysterically at his expression, making him glare before silently beginning to gather a plethora of snow in his palms.

As Soomin continued laughing, Renjun quietly packed the snow together in the shape of a ball. It was quite large and he knew that little Bae would stand a chance.

Soomin wiped the tears from her eyes as her laughing died down only to find Renjun not anywhere in her sight.

She looked around in every angle until finally turning around and catching a glimpse of the large snowball that Renjun had held.

He immediately threw it at her with some force.

In a desperate attempt, she tried to run but unfortunately she was too late and got smacked by the large snowball, making her fall right into the snow.

It now became Renjun's turn to laugh hysterically, seeing his girlfriend covered in head to toe in snow.

Soomin's brows furrowed and she desperately tried to wiggle out of the pile of snow she became stuck in, only for it to lead to no avail.

Renjun laughed even harder at this and Soomin sighed, knowing damn well she was probably gonna get frostbite.

"I could use some help you know!" She yelled at the boy who only laughed harder as he stumbled to make his way to her.

"Stop laughing before I smack that smile off your face." She said through her gritted teeth and Renjun wiped the small tears in his eyes before helping his girlfriend out of the snow.

"Sorry. That was just so fucking funny!" He exclaimed and his small fits of laughter continued again.

Soomin huffed in anger before starting to laugh with him as it was quite addictive and she knew she couldn't stay mad at him.

The two finally settled down their laughter before smiling at each other, finding their presence to be quite soothing and comfortable.

Renjun went to go hug her and Soomin pretended to do the same, only to shove a small clump of snow down his shirt.

He pushed her away slightly as he desperately tried to get the cold snow out of his shirt which made Soomin burst out into giggles.

As Renjun finally took the snow out, he glared at his still laughing girlfriend who finally settled down and gave him a cheeky smile.

"Sorry~ I won't do it again now." She said and Renjun rolled his eyes but a smile still evident on his lips.

"You're so lucky I love you or else I would've sucked all your blood and killed you." He said as his arms settled around her waist.

"Aww how sweet. Just like the first time we met." She said as she wrapped her arms around his neck, making him chuckle slightly.

"Happy one year, baby. I love you." She said as she leaned her head in as he did the same.

"Happy one year, gorgeous. I love you more."

And with that, the two shared a passionate kiss as the winter snow fell on the couple who knew their love for each other was more than words can explain.
