Soomin had fell with a small thud, wincing at the action.
She knew she couldn't lash out at the person since it was her fault because she wasn't paying attention to where she was going, but she wanted to just lunge at the person the second she saw their face.
"Holy shit are you okay?" The girl asked, offering a hand out to help Soomin and she just grunted before standing up by herself.
"Why would you care?" Soomin asked, glaring at the hand that was still held out.
"Soomin, don't act like that." The person said and Soomin scoffed.
"I have every right to act like this after the shit you pulled, Misun." At this point, the boys were looking for her and saw her standing there with her, having a feeling that it wasn't going to end well.
"Look, I know you hate me but can you at least give me a chance to explain?" Misun asked with tearful eyes and Soomin considered it for a second before shaking her head.
"Why should you explain that you've been nothing but a bitch to me since the first day we've met? There's really no explanation for that." Soomin said with a tiny laugh, not buying the tears that slowly traveled down Misun's face.
"Please at least let me explain why I acted that way after our parents announced their marriage." Misun croaked out as she held onto Soomin's wrist which she desperately wanted to whack away.
Renjun saw her body language being quite uncomfortable and he was ready to take her away until Jaemin stopped him.
"Let her. Bae needs to at least listen. Maybe she does have an explanation." Jaemin said and Renjun wanted to ignore him and go to her until finally deciding to just watch it all play out, reminding himself to get to her quickly in case anything bad happened.
After some careful thinking for a few seconds, Soomin ended up snatching her own wrist back and looking at the girl with a straight face.
"Fine. What is it that you want to tell me?" Soomin questioned with crossed arms.
"Soomin.. I know about your dad and how he sold his soul." Misun said and Soomin immediately froze.
"The night before our families were supposed to meet, he put my mom and I under his control. He forced us to be awful to you and he knew your attitude issues would cause us to fight and he wanted to use that as an excuse to constantly get you in trouble and have you take the blame." Misun explained through tiny sobs.
Soomin felt her heart hurt a bit after hearing that and was feeling bad about the entire thing.
"He wanted to figure out ways to get mad at you and distress you to the point of having you- die to put it simple. He eventually went insane when he noticed things weren't going to his plan and I know he went out yesterday night in an attempt to kill you himself." She continued and looked at the girl who held an unreadable expression.
"I know what I did to you before was horrible but when my mom had told me she was marrying your dad, I decided that I wanted to try and be nice for a change so I can have a healthy relationship with you as a sister. My mom was so excited to meet you as well until your dad did the thing." Misun had taken Soomin's hands into hers, watching as her eyes glistened slightly at the attempt to hold back tears.
"It wasn't until last night when my mom and I felt the draining of the power held over us that we knew he had finally died. We don't know how but we do know it most likely has something to do with you and I want to thank you and finally say I'm sorry."
And with that, Soomin gave the girl a warm hug, mix of emotions flooding her body but knew it would be right to forgive the girl which clearly shocked Misun and the boys who watched.
