A/N: So this chapter is a little shorter than the others but boyyyyy does it pack a punch! As a little surprise, I asked Rayna who cowrites A Pirates Treasure with me if she would write a special scene for this chapter and yooooo she delivered as always! So that being said this chapter has explicit content (I'll put a marker where it starts incase anyone is uncomfortable.) Also I think this chapter has the biggest cliffhanger I've done for this book. So enjoy that xD

Killian

This was it. My Career was over. So many people knew between Blaire's friends Will and Kass, and now Emma, it had barely begun and now it was over. Blaire was looking down at her burrito splattered on the steps with a frown. Emma was just staring at me with wide eyes.
"Miss Nolan.." I started.
"Yeah?" Blaire answered. "Oh.. her. Awkward.." She said and winced.
Bloody hell..
"I'm...so lost here." Emma said. "I mean... what the hell?" Emma asked.
"If you come in, perhaps we could explain?" I offered.
"Could you put on clothes first?" Emma scoffed.
"Oh.. yes of course. Blaire?" I said.
"Right clothes, those are important" Blaire nodded and left the remains of her burrito to follow me into the cabin to get dressed.

Once dressed I let Emma back into the cabin and there was an awkward silence between the three of us.
"Can someone please say something??" Emma asked. "I mean what the hell is going on here? You're our teacher, our MARRIED Teacher!" Emma exclaimed.
"Separated." Blaire said. "Divorce pending.." She added as if it made a difference right now.
"Okay.. he's still our teacher Blaire!" Emma hissed. "He's like 40."
"Uh.. no He's not." I said. "Owch."
"Hes like 2 years older than Neal!" Blaire argued. "So don't go there."
"This is dangerous Blaire. I mean this could ruin his life."
"Not if no one says anything. Doesn't this count in cousin code?" Blaire asked. "Or is that just to benefit you?"
Now is really not the time to get snippy Blaire.
"Ladies.. If I may-"

Emma and Blaire both just glared at me and I stepped back with my hands out.
"This is way different than Neal and I. Mr. Jones could lose his job, you could get expelled! Not to mention my dad would find a way to get him in jail."
"He can't. I'm 18!" Blaire sighed. "We are being careful which is why we came here I didn't think Neal's big surprise would be taking you out here too."
"Yeah well Surprise!" Emma exclaimed.
"Come on Em.. don't do this. I've kept your secrets. Keep mine."
"I can keep this a secret but if the wrong person finds out... I mean what if it had been anyone else on the other side of that door?" Emma asked. "Someone who wasn't your cousin." Emma pressed.
"I don't know.." Blaire said softly.
"All I'm saying is there is a lot at stake here and You!" She turned to me. "Are you just trying to get fired?"
"No, Emma I'm not. Theres no need for hostility. I know its a huge risk but its worth it. Blaire makes me happier than I've been in years thats something I would easily trade my whole career for. So please I'm begging you, keep this between us." I pleaded. "If you tell anyone its not just hurting me, its hurting her. Think about it."

Emma sighed
"I'm not going to tell...but you two are going to have to be a lot more careful than this. Maybe rendezvous more than a couple hour drive away." Emma said.
"Noted...for next time." I gave her a small smile.
"You aren't quite off the hook, Jones, my cousin has been dealt shit cards her whole life almost. If she ends up hurt because of something you've done, I'll end you."
"Apparently there is a line, you'll have to get behind Scarlet and Kassidy." I sighed.

Emma looked at Blaire and raised an eyebrow
"Okay yeah we need to be wayyy more careful." Blaire sighed and sat down.
"Uh huh." Emma agreed and then sighed. "Neal and I were about to play some card games but...if you two want to play..We could break out Cards Against Humanity. Could be fun." She shrugged.
"Can I order more food first?" Blaire asked. "Since you murdered my burrito in cold blood?"
"Sure." Emma chuckled. "What do you think Mr. Jones?"
"Killian will do, at least outside of school." I said. "And sounds fun to me, just feed your cousin before she turns into a gremlin please."
Blaire narrowed her eyes at me.
"Quickly then." I smirked and ducked as Blaire picked up a pillow from the bed and launched it at me.

-----------------------------------------------------

"So I thought you were the wild child between the two of you, but I think your cousin takes the cake with this one Em." Neal chuckled.
"Agreed." Emma said.
"Yeah well this is awkward. Even more so that you and Neal know each other." Blaire groaned.
"Aye. Neal has listened to many of my drunken rambles on friday nights." I smirked and sipped at the beer in my hand. I promised Blaire just the one and I intended to keep that promise.
"Guess thats something Neal and I have in common too." Blaire smirked. I chuckled at the memory of Blaire driving my drunk arse home that one night. The night I believe that started all of this.

"So you aren't like changing her grades or anything...right?" Emma asked. I could tell she was still very skeptical of this whole thing.
"Oh no, I wouldn't even think of that. Whatever grade Blaire gets she gets on her own, if anything I'm harder on her because I know how intelligent she is."
"Sucks to suck Blaire he's a hardass anyways and now you have it twice as bad." Emma smirked.
"Hah. Hah." Blaire mumbled and glared at her cousin.
"I'm not that bad." I scoffed. Both Emma and Blaire just looked at me.
"Trust us, you are." Emma chuckled.
"You yelled at me for days over shoes Jones."Blaire said.
"You made Ashley cry because her phone went off." Emma added.
"Okay, Okay lets not tear Killian apart." I said and put my hands out.
"Wendy is terrified of him." Blaire continued.
"They are telling on you." Neal chuckled.
"Aye tell me about it." I groaned. "So maybe I've been a bit of an arse but I had my reasons I mean my bloody marriage was falling apart. But now.. I have Blaire and she makes me happy maybe I'll cut everyone some slack."
Blaire smiled and snuggled into my shoulder.
"You make me happy too Jones." She said.

Blaire

I stood out on the back porch of the cabin looking up at the stars over the sandy beach while Killian was still catching up with Neal in Emma's cabin. I couldn't help but feel anxious. Emma was right, we weren't being careful at all. If that had been anyone else but Emma at the door we would have been so screwed, could I really let Killian mess up his whole career..for me?

I felt two strong arms wrap around my waist and scruff tickling my neck.
"You should come inside I got the fire going." Killian said.
"Maybe in a bit." I said.
"You alright? I promise I only had the one beer." Killian said.
"Its not that." I sighed.
"Then what?" Killian asked.
"Emma is right. We haven't been careful at all. So many people know."
"Aye.. I know but we can start being more careful." Killian smiled. "New Years resolutions and all." He chuckled.
"Am I really worth it Killian?" I asked.
"What do you mean Blaire?" Killian asked in return.
"Am I worth your entire career?" I specified.
"Do you think I would be doing this if I didn't think you were?" Killian asked. "Of course you are worth it Blaire. Every bit worth it. If the wrong person finds out, I'll protect you I promise."
"Who is going to protect you Killian?"
"Protect me from what? A Job I didn't truly want. Don't get me wrong I love teaching but it wasn't my first career choice. At least not teaching history. And definitely not teaching High school." Killian said. "I settled on my career and I settled once before on love but I won't make that mistake again Blaire. I want you, no matter the cost." Killian smiled and pushed my hair out of my face.

I sighed and pulled away from him.
"But why?" I asked. "Why me?"
"Why not you?" Killian asked.
"I mean, look at me." I shrugged. "Not exactly a beauty queen over here. I'm a rough and tumble, I'm not girly, and I intimidate most guys."
"Thats how you see you, if only you saw what I see when I look at you Blaire. You are beautiful, but its not your looks that I'm interested in, its who you are as a person that makes me love you."
"Wait...love?" I asked. "You love...me?"
Killian swallowed thickly.
"Yes. Blaire. I love you." He gave me a smile, a nervous smile like he wasn't sure I was going to say it back, like I didn't feel the same but I did. Long before now, I loved Killian Jones.
"I...I love you too." I said and walked back to his open arms throwing myself into them.
"I'm not going anywhere okay?" He reassured me.
"Okay." I smiled against his shirt.
"Lets go inside." Killian said taking my hand.
"Okay." I smiled and bit my lip letting him lead me inside the cabin where he had candles lit all around.
"Wow.. this looks.."
"Amazing I know, I'm kind of big on the romance thing." Killian smirked and leaned in and kissed me.
