callie didn't expect that this day would come.

sitting in front of her crush for four years— well technically she was waiting for him since jihoon insisted that he will order their drinks and snacks for the both of them as she just gave her share (which jihoon didn't use by the way) so as she was just getting her laptop ready, she looked up and saw jihoon walking towards their table.

"cold?" he asked, callie looked down and saw herself snuggling on her thin sweaters as her fists were closed trying not to shiver from the coldness inside the cafe, she heard a chuckle as she felt warm clothing enveloping her, "ayan, kanina ka pa diyan nanginginig. alam mo naman malamig lagi sa starbuck— okay i was nagging again." jihoon stopped midway realizing his blabbering as he sat down setting their drinks and putting the tray away.

"no," she softly says, "it's okay, kala ko naman kasi hindi ganoon kalamig talaga," she says hiding her small hands on her sweater showing sweater paws, "callie, it's ber months," jihoon deadpanned making callie chuckle, "lalamig at lalamig na yung panahon." he says getting his things out of the bag as callie waits for her laptop to open.

"yes sir, next time magdadala na po." she says with a hint of teasing as jihoon's lips curled making his ears flush in red.

silence overcame as callie opens some documents of her reviewers and bringing her other things as well especially her tablet for digital drawing reasons. later on as she was busy opening the plastic bag of her favorite gummies— struggling, she felt a hand hover above hers as jihoon snatched it from her hand opening it in one go.

"cute mo pag binubuksan, nakapout talaga." jihoon teases as he imitates the way she opened it a while ago, "funny ka ha?" she asks making jihoon shake his head fondly, "at least ngumiti ka," he says back making callie blush as jihoon returns the bag of gummies on her hand.

"ah nga pala," jihoon continues making callie look up again as she chews on her food, "about me courting you," he trails off looking everywhere except callie's eyes as she noticed him playing with the hem of his shirt again, "hindi ba dapat ako yung nahihiya sayo?" she slowly asks making jihoon perk up, "cute mo, lagi mong kinakalikot 'yang hem ng shirt mo whenever you get shy." she points out as jihoon immediately removes his hands from his shirt.

"but, would you ano— uhm— agree? me courting you?" he asks with hope in his eyes as callie smiles endearingly, "wag ka nga ganyan," she covers jihoon's face with her small hands as jihoon smiles putting up his hand as he held her hand to his letting it rest on his cheek, "ano? consent is really important, miss callie." he says making callie look down and nod slowly.

she felt soft plump lips by her palm as she looks back again seeing jihoon kisses the palm of her hand, "lamig ng kamay mo," he teases as she used the time to pinch his nose making him laugh, "thank you," he says as callie felt his breath through her hand since she was still blocking her nose, "para saan?" she asked with a goofy smile as jihoon sneakily stucked his tongue out licking the skin from callie's hand.

"jihoon!" she whispered scream as she removed her hand from his nose earning a laugh from the man, "i mean, for letting me court you," he says shyly as he looks down and went back to his business, "and for letting me like you," she heard him mutter as callie slowly smiled looking at the man in front of him.

again, silence. but it was comfortable as the faded voices from the people around them lingers through their ears as they just enjoy each other's presence with a little bit of talking whenever callie asks jihoon the formula in math and how to do it, or how science things work in that topic. as she was busy writing on her paper, she felt a hand in front of her as she slowly looked up and see jihoon's palm open. callie looks at him but the latter was busy writing on his own paper.

callie puts her correction tape on his hand as jihoon didn't accept it, she puts another thing on his hand but he didn't take it or closed his palm. as she thinks of another thing, she playfully puts her laptop on his palm with her hands on the other so it won't fall as she took a peek and jihoon still haven't looked back from her antics. callie sighs putting down her laptop as she pouts going back to what she was doing but before she can even start writing again, jihoon reaches for her left hand and held it close by him.

"bakit?" she asks confusedly as jihoon still continued to write and write, "wala lang, just feel like it," he says taking a peek a her reaction, she furrowed her eyebrows as jihoon smiles softly, "gusto ko lang naman hawakan kamay mo, lamig dito eh." he says as callie opens her mouth then closes again, jihoon looks down as he adds, "sayo muna jacket ko, mamaya mo na bigay." when callie was supposed to remove the jacket hanging from her shoulders.

jihoon puts down his ballpen as he rests his head on his forearm and held her hand tightly as callie instinctly plays with his hair. she suddenly felt drowsy as she took a quick picture posting it on her story as she lays her head beside him. later on she noticed jihoon's wallet as she saw cute embroidery of blue JM on it.

"bigay 'yan sakin ng kapatid ko," he suddenly said beside her as she realized that she was already holding his wallet looking at it closely, "kahit pinapakita namin na ayaw namin sa isa't isa or nag-aasaran kami, sobrang thankful ako na kapatid ko 'yung lokong 'yon." he adds making callie laugh.

"buti ka nga may kapatid eh," she sighs as she gently shakes the wallet on her hand, "well it's definitely fine kasi kahit hindi kapatid, i have my cousins with me as well as adie and his kuya na naturingan ko na rin na parang kapatid so it's all good," she smiles as she felt jihoon's head closer to hers. "si wonwoo ba never ka nagkagusto doon?" jihoon suddenly asked making her smile from jihoon's cuteness.

"i did. grade 5? bata pa naman kami non," she reminisce, "i told him nung grade 8, tawang tawa ako kasi diring diri siya," she rolls her eyes as she felt jihoon's laugh beside her, "open mo wallet ko," jihoon says making callie turn her head, "ano meron?" she asks jihoon sat up as he opens his own wallet and showed her something,

it's her 2x2.

corny pero she smiled shyly.

"kanino mo nakuha?" she asks as jihon looks through his wallet, "nyong," he answers shortly as he puts out a folded and crampled bond paper out of his wallet, "ano 'yan," she points out to the paper as jihoon looks at her, "letter sakin nung retreat, my motivation as well." he laughs lowly as he cleans his wallet already putting out all the trashes from inside.

callie slowly opened the letter as she felt sudden goosebumps hit her, she shakily puts down the letter, mouth open as she looks at jihoon with her flushed face, "oh my god jihoon." she says more of a whisper as jihoon stopped collecting his money as he slowly looked at her, "you okay? may masa— ah cute ng letter 'no?" he looks at the open letter, "don't worry ikaw naman crush ko. that gave me motivation lang kasi i was doubting myself with my capabilities— hoy callie okay ka lang ba?" he asks putting down his wallet and reaching out for callie's hand squeezung it tightly.

"no, ano lang— ano— goosebumps." she says looking at the letter in front of her again as jihoon confusedly tilted his head by the side, "yung— yung ano— yung letter ayan—" she points in front of her, "that's my letter for you," she says in a whisper making jihoon's mouth gape in surprise. "i... did... did it make you uncomfort—"

"god, callie. no it did not." jihoon finally chuckles as she breathes in relief, "sabi ko nga kanina it motivated me and it turns out to be you," he slowly says as he folds the paper again putting it inside his wallet. he reaches again to both of her hands and held it with his, "hey, tingin ka," jihoon calls out as she looks up looking at his eyes, "thank you. for this." he says vaguely but you get what he means.

"it means a lot to me especially ayun nga tama ka, my parents don't really support me with my path but these days they're slowly accepting it so thank you." he smiles as he puts their hands close to his lips, "thank you talaga, callie." he kisses her knuckles making her melt from his touch.

she smiles softly mirroring jihoon's expressions as they went back to their business with shy smiles on their faces.
