"I want to take you out on a date," I heard Andrew say in front of me.

I looked up from the work I was doing and dropped my pen on the desk. "No restaurants please."

He chuckled. The last time we went out on a date to a restaurant, it didn't turn out pretty.

He chuckled, "sure. So yes?"

I nodded, "yes."

We were in my office, both of us working on something our parents asked us to work on in their absence. Ana and her family with Grace had gone back to Chicago so it was like we were taking their places while also doing our jobs as fictional editors.

It's been a month and I am still trying to balance my work and regular life coupled with my love life. I had moved out of my parents house a week after graduation and since Andrew and I have been so busy we hardly get to see each other. Most of the times we see is when I go over to his office building to do something or when he comes over for lunch.

Today he came over for lunch then my dad met him in the office and dumped a shit load of work for both of us.

I stood up and walked to my couch and groaned. "Am I the only one who feels like shit?"

Andrew turned around in the chair and crossed his legs, "nope, I've hardly been sleeping lately."

"Do you know what my mum said when I asked her why they were making us work double?" I placed my hand over my stomach.

"What did she say?"

"She said, 'get used to it because it will only get harder when you become CEO.'" I quoted mum. "So this is like training."

"Don't you think it would have been better if they merged both companies," he stood up and took a seat on the couch.

"You know technically both companies are kind of merged, shares and all of that and our parents co-own both companies. So yeah they are merged but not merged in a way." I sat up and looked at him.

"The only difference is the different names," he crossed his legs.

"Exactly." I nodded.

I laid back on the couch and I saw Andrew stand up and make his way over to me. He rose my legs up and sat before placing my legs on his lap. He began to massage my ankles.

I smiled, "you do know the way to my heart."

"You've been wearing heels all week, this is the least I can do for you." He said as he rubbed my feet.

"Do you think Funke will be alright?" I asked a question that was bothering me.

Obviously Adrian and Funke had gone back to Chicago and a few times we would talk she wasn't sounding alright to me, like something was bothering her and I was worried. She assured me she was fine but it was hard to believe.

"That woman is strong, she'll be fine, let's just keep praying for her like we always have." Andrew's hands went higher, up to my knees.

I closed my eyes, "okay."

I began to think of what to get Andrew for his birthday which is next week on September first. Mine is September fifth and I'm very sure our parents would like to celebrate our birthdays together, like they always do.

Our mothers were friends since college so they basically married around the same time and got pregnant the same time, hence gave birth to Andrew and I at the same time so they always celebrated our birthdays together.
