You should probably be feeling better in the morning after crying your eyes out to the person who broke your heart because you told him exactly how you felt.
That was not my case. I feel terrible for an unknown reason. I couldn't even look at his face when I woke up in the morning and saw him standing in front of the bed as if waiting for me to wake up.
I shouldn't be feeling this way, I should be feeling lighter than usual because God knows I've never cried over Andrew like that to anyone.
I should probably get Andrew off of my mind because I have a big exam waiting for me to write. Today is the second to last day of exams, after this one I have just one left and I'll be done with college.
As a high GP student I made sure I was among the first people to defend and be done with my project while handling the exams.
Now after the exams I don't have to be running around campus like a headless chicken because of a project. I still have to do my clearance but that shouldn't take time.
I said goodbye to Adrian and Andrew's friends before Funke and I hopped into my car. Though we were seeing each other later in the day it was like we were going on a really long journey away from each other. The exam was by three pm and it was just eight am so it's a bit understandable.
"I can't wait to start driving my car again," Funke said making me smile.
She has a car but she doesn't like driving on campus because she doesn't want any attention on herself or so she says, but I believe it has something to do with her father, someone she never speaks about. So her car is in Lagos where she resides and she drives either my car or Adrian's when she needs to drive.
"Can't wait too, I'm tired of driving you around," I rolled my eyes, trying to fake my exhaustion.
"You know you'll miss driving me around," she pushed my shoulder making me fake to loose my control of the car for a second.
"Hey, I still love my life drive carefully!" She yelled at me and I bit my bottom lip to suppress my laughter.
"You were the one who pushed me!" My pitch matched hers and I couldn't hold it in longer as I started laughing hard.
Funke scowled at me and tried to push my shoulders again but I was quick to dodge her.
She childishly crossed her arms, "just drive"
My response was my laugh. When I finally had control of myself my laughter died down making Funke to let out a breath.
She pushed the radio button and music immediately flooded my car. I see no reason for that since I was pulling up to her apartment already.
I put the car to a stop and looked at Funke, waiting for her to leave the car.
"I hope you and Drew were able to settle?" She asked me, stretching to get her bag at the back seat.
I sighed and sank in my seat, "kinda."
"Oh well, if you need me to kick his ass I'm here," she tapped my shoulder, "see ya." She got out of the car and closed the door behind her.
When she was in front of her door I pulled away from her driveway and drove to my house.
I parked my car and reached to the back seat to retrieve my bag. I slung it over my shoulder and got out of the car making sure to lock the doors.
Safely inside my apartment I dropped my bag on the floor and rushed to the bathroom to take a really long shower or better still have a dip in the bathtub.
Before taking off my clothes I went to the bathroom to get the water ready. When done with that I took off my clothes and slowly dipped myself into the bathtub.
My muscles felt sore and this should help me relax plus a really nice nap.
While in the bathtub I tried my hardest not to think about Andrew and to my uttermost surprise I didn't.
Everytime he popped into my thoughts I immediately diverted my attention to something else.
When done in the bathtub I came out and changed into a pair of cream shorts and a white tank top. I quickly set an alarm for two o'clock before snuggling into my bed and pulling the covers over myself.
It didn't take long before I found myself dreaming about a particular grey eyed man.

I did a last minute room check and when I was sure I had everything I needed I confidently walked out of my house.
I slung my bag over my shoulder and walked to my car. I unlocked the doors and hoped in.
I started my car and started driving, heading to Funke's house first. I'm supposed to pick her first.
When I got to the front of her house I dialed her number and when she picked I told her that I was waiting for her.
A minute after she ran out of her house, her bag pack resting on her shoulder and a textbook in her hands.
"Hey," she greeted as she settled herself beside me.
"Hey," I greeted back as I put the car in motion and drove us to the campus.

Have you ever felt like all your efforts were wasted before? Especially when you put your time and sleep away for it.
Well that was how I felt when the exam for the day was over. That was the simplest exam I had ever written. Not to brag or anything but I'm going to ace the exam that's for sure.
"I need to kill that lecturer," Funke exclaimed as we walked out of the exam hall together.
I laughed and I put a hand over her shoulder, "no knowledge is lost," I told her.
She brushed my hand off and stomped to the passengers side of the car. I took out my keys from my bag and leaned on the car, placing my hands in front of me, "You know, we should probably chill out this weekend ya know, I miss our girl time," I told her.
She stroked her chin with her eyes focused above my head. "Yeah," she looked at me.
I unlocked the doors and we both got in. With our seat belts on I drove us out of campus grounds.
"I don't understand Adrian now," Funke said in a rush after a few minutes of silence.
I shifted my gaze from her to the road for a second, "what do you mean?"
"He's been acting all crazy lately. I know Adrian can be protective but he went overboard last night," she answered while slinging her backpack over her shoulder once again. "Got to go now but I'll tell you all about what happened when we see tomorrow," and with that she was out of sight.
I sighed and sunk into my chair before sitting back up and moving the car while thinking about what she said.
Adrian has always been protective especially around Funke giving their history together. They never really told me the details about what happened but I know that Adrian was part of the people who saved her.
According to her, she wouldn't be where she is if not for the constant encouragement he gave her.
But there's one thing we never understood about Adrian and it was his feelings towards her. She told me they kissed once before college but that was all. He never spoke about it and whenever she brought up the talk, he always ignored or found a way to change the topic.
Since Funke has know him, she has never seen him show any romantic feelings for anyone and that kiss was the slightest she got.
I can understand her worry, I feel it too, he's also my best friend.
After dumping my keys where they should be I started taking off all my clothes before I got to the room and by the time I was in my room all I had on was my underwear and bra.
I dumped my clothes on my bed and laid down on the bed, to say I'm exhausted would be an understatement.
