Chapter 22

Jack

My squad took her away. It was only Bunny, North and Sandy inside the room. Pitch pushed me away, causing me to be thrown at the table. I hit my back, it throbbed for a while as I get on my feet. Sandy attacked him with his whip, he kept on fighting back with his sword that looks like a fencing sword but have spikes at the tip. His men came inside, we're getting surrounded. I hope plan X will work. Gogo and the others are standby.

"One!", I shouted as I shot five men before running to the other and fight them. I throw the chair at them, banging it to their heads.

"Two!", Bunnymund shouted. .

"Three!", North shouted.

"Lose!", Sandy pressed his button. The GMI special force entered, throwing a rope to Pitch capturing his arms. He cut each rope that are being thrown at him.

"Sandy now!!", I yelled. Sandy whipped his back, Pitch fell on his knees.

"A to D! Shoot!", I yelled as they shoot Pitch's men that are entering the room.

"E to H! Hands!", North commanded. The team E to H ran towards Pitch's men, attacking them to hand to hand combat. They successfully fell down.

"Ho!ho! Ho!", Bunnymund said throwing his sharp boomerang blades. I ducked, time for the final wrap. I jumped towards Pitch, we rolled to the ground. He spit on my face, he kicked my side and pushed me away.

"He's running away!", I yelled.

When we are all ready to shoot, Elsa covered him. All of Pitch's men were down, they're all weak. Elsa spread her arms, protecting Pitch. She's so stubborn! Can she listen to me just once?!

"Elsa what the hell?!", I shouted.

"Guard on!", Sandy ordered.

"I can't let you kill my dad!", Elsa cried as she covered Pitch.

"Elsa she's not your father!", I heard Anna yelled. She's from team A. "We are your family!", She cried.

"What?", Elsa asked. She's confused, it seems like she's not expecting to see Anna here. "How.."

"We are your family Elsa and not that demon!", Anna yelled.

Pitch grabbed Elsa with him, they're escaping. "Team D and F! Follow!", I shouted. "The rest block the entrance!", I commanded.

"Yes Sir!", They all said. When they left. Me, North, Bunny, Sandy, Anna are chasing them. Pitch stopped in a balcony. Elsa hugged him, begging.

"Dad please stop let's just surrender", she cried so hard.

Pitch's emotions kept on changing. He's like a computer malfunctioning. He pushed her away. "You're nothing but a useless toy!", he yelled. Elsa sobbed, hugging herself. She's on the ground, covering her mouth. The wind blew on our direction, the big moon is the only source of light giving us.

Elsa stand up. "You don't have to do this. I have hatred towards you but you got to stop..", she begged Pitch.

"It's your fault! It's your fault that Agnar married Iduna! I was there first! Your mother was mine! Moon helped Agnar!", Pitch spit out loudly. Anna who is next to North, she's crying.

She knew all about this?

When we are about to step towards him, Pitch climbed the balcony. We're on the seventh building of the hospital, if he fall down there he'll die. "Dad no!", Elsa cried.

"I'm sorry Elsa", Pitch said. "I love you my dark phoenix", he whispered before jumping to the balcony.

"No!!!!", Elsa shouted in agony as she ran towards the railing and grasp tight to it. It's too late, Pitch fell down and died. North hugged Anna, comforting her. I ran towards Elsa, she's on her knees crying. Hugging her, I pulled her close to me. She hugged my waist.

"It's over now snowflake..", I said kissing her head. Elsa kept on sobbing as she hug me tight. I don't care if my dress shirt is getting wet. The only thing I care about is her being alive and this mission was successful. "Shh..there, there ..", I smiled.

"He's dead..", Elsa cried. She really have a pure heart. Even if this man used her, raise her in a cruel way.. she still have a respect to him.

"It's okay now..", I said looking at her. "Hey ..  look at me", I said to her. Elsa looked me in the eyes, I cupped her cheeks. Her blue eyes looked at me, it's surrounded in a pink circle as she was pale. "It's all over now, no more pain, no more suffering", I smiled at her.

Tears start to form under my eyes, it's hurting me to see her like.. this. Elsa cried, I kissed her lips. She kissed back, still sobbing as her soft lips touch mine. Pulling her close, I wrapped my arms around her waist. "Ehem!", Someone caughed behind us causing us to part away slowly. I smirked at her, wiping the tears away from her eyes.

"You have me", I smiled at Elsa. "Damn it Kangaroo!", I cursed. All of them laughed at us. I helped Elsa up, Anna ran to her and hug her while I walk towards my team. We group hugged and jump. As Elsa mourn, I'm happy because this hell is over now. Another chapter in life where I'll change my way of living.

The ambulance came, they quickly took me to a hospital to check on my vitals and so as the baby. Here I am, lying on a hospital bed... Staring at the white ceiling. This is the first time Pitch said he loves me. I knew from the start that he was suffering from mental problems. After all, I must be grateful that he spared my life. He didn't kill me.

My hand landed on my stomach, the police kept on talking to me. The detective as well, they were asking me things that I don't know if I can bare to answer. "Where's the other lair?", The detective interrogate me. I need to end this as well.

"Deep down the building is a map, money, list and places where Pitch hide all of his stuff. Evidence are there. Leave the room, leave me alone and take me to jail tomorrow", I answered coldly. The detective looked at me before coughing. The police left the room with them. I can't escape anyway. My hand is cuffed in the bed.

The door opened when they leave. I sighed, closing my eyes. A sound of the door creaking opened made me open my eyes, it revealed Anna with a smile on her lips. "Anna..", I said.

"Elsa", Anna hugged me. "I'm glad you're safe...", She let go of me. I can't hug back, my other hand is cuffed in the bed and the other throb because of the needle. They put dextrose on me.

"I am too.. ", I smiled sadly.

"That day we first met each other at the road, it is my doing. I didn't know I'd find you that way", Anna started to talk. I can feel my heart beat fast. Tears start to flow from my eyes. "I am your biological sister", she sniffed. Tears start to flow from her cheeks.

"Where's mother and father?", I asked.

"They're dead. Pitch killed them when he took you away from us", Anna cried. "But they left a bunch of letters in your room", she smiled at me as she held my hand. Hot tears stream down my cheek. They died.. because of Pitch.

"Why did you took me with you mister?", I asked Pitch.

"You ask many questions that annoys me. Fuck that", Pitch angrily snapped at me inside the car.

"Please?", I asked.

"Fine, my daughter Emily Jane died because of me. I didn't get to protect her. I was longing for my daughter. There's your answer now shut up", he rolled his eyes.

That's the main reason, I was a replacement of Emily Jane. I breathe in, he also hold grudge because Pitch was a past lover of my mother. "Remember when we used to build snowman next to our house when you were seven?", Anna sniffed at me. She look so happy. I am happy that I found her again. That's the main reason why.. why.. I felt emotional seeing two kids play in the snow together when I came out for a drink.

"Now.. you're going to be an aunt", I giggled. "Come here", I lend my right hand even if it hurts. Anna hugged me, sobbing on my shoulder. I hugged her tight. I'm happy that I found my family. I'm ready to pay for my sins, it's my fault many people lost their lives and I ruined a lot of families because their love one died. I closed my eyes as Anna hugged me tightly.
