The smell was overwhelming sweet this near to the plant. It was blood red, and atop it was a flower. It's petals looked like blood dripping. I looked at Luxa, and she looked at me. We had found it. She whistled for the bats, and a few moments later I could hear the flapping of their powerful wings.

"Go to a place where you can land," Luxa called to above. They flew to where the canopy was less dense, I could briefly see Aurora's golden fur.

"How are we going to retrieve it?" Luxa pulled out a large piece of leather.

"We are going to take the whole plant, and wrap it in here," she said, motioning to the leather. I nodded, and carefully removed the plant. We were going to save the gnawers. I gently put the blood red plant. I started to feel lightheaded as I lifted it onto Aurora.

Then my world went black.

Okay, I am extremely sorry for this really short chapter. I was busy today with school, and I am really really tired and have no energy to make this longer.

All the best,
Chlorella
