The next few day were uneventful, I woke up and walked around the castle with Maggie and Lizzie. Luxa had duties to catch up on since she was gone for a week. The plant was made into a powder and it seemed to be working. It would take awhile for Ripred to regrow his fur, but atleast the flea would be killed. Tomorrow they were going to send the powder to the gnawers. You only needed a bit to kill the fleas.
"Hey Gregor," Luxa appeared behind me. I was walking to Maggie and Lizzie's shared room. I stopped and waited for her to catch up.
"Oh, hey," I threw my arm around her shoulders and we walked to the girls room.
"Can we talk?" She looked up at me, "In private," She added, softly.
"Yeah," She grabbed my hand and dragged me into an empty room. It looked so plain, the only color was the blankets covering the bed. Luxa sat down on the bed, looking defeated. I sat down next to her.
"Whats wrong," I said, holding her face in my palm.
"First, we need to start planning the wedding,"
"Okay, what do you want to do?"
"I feel like we should incorporate traditions from the Overland and Underland into our wedding,"
"Yeah, I like that idea,"
"Also, we need to publicly announce it, I think the people would want to know who their prince consort will be long before the wedding,"
"Prince consort?"
"Yes, you cannot hold a title higher than mine,"
"Makes sense,"
"And another thing, the other night you asked me about my 'condition', yes?"
"Mmhm,"
"Well, it's not exactly a condition, but more like an ability. You see there are Dreamers, like Nerissa. Ragers, like you and Ripred. But, there are also, Speaker, and Seers. Speakers have the ability to speak animal tongue, like Hazard. Seers can see death, or when death is to occur and they can sense other's abilities,"
"And why do you bring this up?"
"Well, erm, I am a Seer," She paused, "And......Ripred is too far gone, he will die,"
~~~
Ha, told you she wasn't pregnant (:<
And as always I hoped you enjoyed.
All the best,
Tery
