Frozen to a point of no return
is an understatement of the cold heart you now possess.

It was once a heart for which I yearned
whenever I was in a state of distress.

A constant chill in my bones is all I currently feel
and it's an unbearable pain that finds my last bit of happiness to steal.

Your heart,
which was once filled with a warm aura of peaceful silence
has now unraveled
into a heart of unexpected and bizarre violence.

Your eyes no longer contain your natural warmth,
Only a visible blizzard
and a chilling storm.

I tried telling you that the grass is greener on the other side,
but you froze the other side
with the chilling gaze of your eyes.

Your drastic change has indeed been strange
but it has made you bitter.
You changed,
but the one thing that stays the same...

Is that it's never warm in winter.
