(Mio POV)

"Alright, everyone split up, so we can cover more ground. Mio and Sara take the West side of the village, while Chimon and I take the East. Meet back here in an hour, let me know if you find the cat," our current Sensei explains, waving his hands around in many directions.

His name is Riku and he is a Jounin. I don't know much about him, but from what I've seen so far. He is a lanky man with mouse brown hair, reaching no further than his shoulders. He's face is an oblong shape and not very full, and his brown eyes are small and squinted. So far he's been really nice and understanding towards me using sign language. He is a very self-regarded man but unlike most, he isn't full of himself. He takes pride in accomplishing his missions and doesn't take short cuts. He keeps at it until the bitter end, and doesn't take detours or muck around. If you work hard and don't slack off around him, you'll get along just fine.

"Alright, go," he speaks and disappears into thin air with Chimon.

"Come on Mio," Sara smiles and I turn to her with a small nod. "Where do you think the cat might be?" she asks eagerly.

'Probably somewhere quiet,' I sign and she raises an eyebrow.

"Why do you think that?" she inquires gently, bending over a little to reach my height.

'Well, the cat looks like it's trying to escape from the owner in the picture. Not only that, but the cat ran away from the woman. From that we can assume the cat doesn't like her and its experiences with her has changed its view on humans. Once you know that, you can narrow it down that the cat would be somewhere it could avoid humans. Perhaps the forest or a dark alley,' I explain and her orange orbs widen slowly in admiration. I watch her mouth slowly spread across her pale complexion, as she forms a smile so wide it almost splits her face in half.

"Oh my! Your sooooooooo smart, Mio!" she speaks happily, almost reminding me of one of Itachi's fangirls. "I'm so happy we're on a team together, your a genius!" she smiles and my eyes drop to the floor quietly. "You know what?" she says suddenly and I look up, noticing her face facing the sky. I wait patiently and she eventually looks back down at me.

'What?' I reply and she smiles once more.

"We should hangout sometime, outside of missions," she clarifies and I give her a nod instinctively. "Alright, how about tomorrow?" she questions and I stare at her blankly as her previous words slowly sink into my mind. Hangout sometime, outside of missions. Did I just say yes to that? I just gave away perfect training time, I doubt she's going to want to train with me.

"Umm hello, Mio?" she waves a hand in front of my face, knocking me out of my thoughts. I look up and she smiles. "So, tomorrow?"

'Uhh...I suppose. What are we going to do?' I question, staring up at her with my large, red orbs.

"Hmm, oh I didn't think that far ahead," she giggles. "What do you want to do?"

'Train,' I reply promptly, as I sign the familiar word.

"Aww, that's boring. We should go eat food or something, instead," she pouts and I stare at her.

'Dango's?' I question and her pout vanishes quickly.

"You like Dango's?" she inquires enthusiastically and I nod with a smile. "Alright, we'll get those then."

'Where should we meet?' I question.

"Umm, that Tea shop," she states, pointing straight ahead. "How about around ten," she informs and I nod indifferently.

'Alright,' I sign and she smiles.
