"So, you wanna book the appointment for the procedure?" The assistant asked.
"Yes. If possible Thursday." Hansol answered.
"We will put your name in but standby we might call you tomorrow." She said as I filled up the particulars.
I was going to pay when Hansol held out his card.
"I can pay." I said and he hushed me.

The next day, Hansol slept in with me.
He was reluctant to go for practice as he is afraid that they would call me around noon.
"Go. I don't want you to get into trouble because of me." I said.
"Then promise me you will call me if they ring you?" He held out his pinky.
I pushed him off the bed and laughed.
"I will prepare you breakfast." I said as I head down.
Twenty minutes later, Hansol came down and hugged me from the back as I prepared toast for him.
"Thank you wifey." He said.
I pecked him on the lips as he pulled me closer.
"I really really love you Nadia."
"I love you more Hansol."

After he left, I cleaned the house a little before plopping down on the sofa to binge watch Sabrina series.

"Nadia, are you able to come today at 4pm later?" - Gynae assistant.
I looked at the time. Two and a half hours more.
"Okay. Is there no available slot tomorrow?"
"I'm afraid not."
"I will be there."
I called Hansol but it went straight to voicemail. I decided to leave a message in case he saw it during break.
Nadia A Rae: Baby.. they only have a 4pm slot later on. There is no slot on Thursday. Call me when you read this.
I slowly take a bath and get myself ready.
I waited but no call from Hansol.
I had no choice but to call Jaime.
When we arrived at the clinic, the nurse called me in the room first and she insert some pill in me.
"We will begin in half an hour." She said as she direct me out back to the waiting area.
"Hansol called." Jaime passed the phone to me.
"Why didn't you tell me???" His voice panicked on the line.
"I texted you Vernon." I answered angrily.
"I did not get any notifications. Only your missed call. I'm on the way. Don't go in without me." He said before hanging up.
"Han..." I wanted to tell him that the surgery is in twenty minutes.
"Just tell him I couldn't keep waiting cause he kept on missing on my messages. Whether or not those girls play a part in this, it's his phone at the end of the day." I told Jaime when the nurse called me in.
I took a deep breath.
I hate needles. I hate injection. Now I'm going through a mini surgery.
"Don't worry. You will sleep and you will wake up not feeling any pain nor discomfort." The gynae said.
My tears started to well up when the nurse told me to calm down so she could inject the anesthesia.
"You will feel sleepy soon." She said but I am still wide awake.
"But I don't feel sleepy at all." I said feeling a little anxious.
"Count with me dear. 1,2,3 ....." My eyes slowly closing on the bright light above me.
"Hey Nadia... Are you awake..?" I heard a voice and I opened my eyes.
How long was I out? That was scary.
"Is it done?" I asked softly.
She nods her head as she checked my blood pressure.
The tears won't stop falling.
"Nadia. You gotta relax. Your BP is too high. I can't send you out until everything is okay." She tried to soothe my anxious self.
I took a deep breath, thinking of Hansol.
I want Hansol here right now.
"I will take again." She said after a few minutes.
"Okay.. Much better. Come let me help you." She said.
I walked out and then I saw Hansol running towards me.
He helped me out and once we are in the car, I broke down once again.
He pulled me straight into his embrace.
After I have finally calmed myself down, I turned to look at him. He was driving us back, both hands at the steering wheel now.
"The clinic assistant said you need to rest fully for this two days. And since we will be away on tour, we can visit the gynae there to review. This time, I will be the one booking the appointment." He said looking ahead.
I just looked out the window. He is upset. So am I.
'Why are you sad? Isn't it easy for you to break up now?' My mind fight my heart.
